New York Post
Stefan C. Friedman
Despite a gargantuan waiting list, applications for Jets season tickets skyrocketed in the days after the MTA approved the club's plans to build a stadium on Manhattan's far West Side, The Post has learned.
More than 225 Gang Green fans put their names on the 10,000-plus-person waiting list — which normally takes up to 10 years to turn over — in the two weeks after the MTA vote, Jets officials confirmed.
Applications usually trickle in at a rate of just four or five per day.[/quote]
