Favre to the Jets??

What are the odds that Brett Favre comes to the Jets? Would you like it if Favre came to the Jets? I personally would be happy to have him. He's an upgrade over what we currently have and if we could get him to agree to play at least 2 seasons I think it could be a good thing. At least he would make it so we were on national tv more often.

40-1 There is no magic bullet QB that can take a team to the playoffs and beyond. What makes QBs successful is the chemistry with the players and coaches, knowing the playbook and being part of the overall system. Brett will have none of that when he goes somewhere else. Jake

I still think we would be better off with Favre then either Chad or Kellen. The question really is - how much better off would we be? To be honest, in year 1, most likely not too much better off but in year 2 I think he would be a major upgrade.

I think it will be interesting to see if the prediction ("whoever gets Farve will not make the playoffs" - Jake) will come true.

Damn.. I knew SOMEONE would pick up on that. Well, it seemed like the right thing to say at the time. Now of course, it doesn't seem right at all, considering he is a JET. I still worry about the HUGE expectations and lack of chemistry, but I will stick by my statement and hope to be dead wrong! :) Jake
