07 Justin: The best place to be is when expectations are high. Get used to it. It's always gonna be that way. Can't wait! Jake: 3, 2, 1, Go! Welcome to Jack Keene's podcast. The longest running New York Jets podcast ever. End of sentence. End of story and we're out. So this is the boss. Done. Justin: Draft is over. Jake: I'm Jake and joining me today across the table in our 15th studio. Justin: This is podcast studio number two, Numerodos. Jake: Well, in some ways it's the original studio. Justin: No. Yeah, but you were here, I wasn't. Jake: Well, that's what I I's saying. This is the original studio. Back in the day, So this almost didn't happen because Justin is going away for two weeks, and so we... almost didn't have a chance to record this. So we hope it's everything that you dream it will possibly be. But let's talk about the draft. So we're going a couple of things today. We're going to talk about sort of big picture draft. What's happening to the draft. Me going to the draft. You not go into the draft. Nope. And then we're talking about the new chest draft. Justin: Oh, you're definitely going? You said you weren't sure you were going. Jake: Now I'm going. Justin: Oh, now you've made up your mind now that we're on a podcast. Five minutes ago before the podcast, you said we were saying I'm not going to go. Jake: I'm tired and brutalized and I have all these stupid events coming up. I've got some stupid event tomorrow night and I've got some stupid event the night after. But I want to go to the... Justin: Wait, wait, wait. Hold on a second. What are all those events, Justin? Hold on a second. Yeah, what's up? Why are you calling my thing stupid? Jake: Oh, you're events. Yeah, anyway, I'm going to the draft. Why are you calling my events stupid? I have a connection. I get to go to the draft. So I'm excited. Justin: Good for you. So let's talk about it. Jake: So a couple of big things. Obviously, if you're a Jets fan or any fan of the NFL, you know that they move the draft back. There's rumors as to whether it happened because of some Easter show that actually then got canceled. ... in Rockford Center, I hope Justin didn't know this. Justin: Easter show at the Radio City. Jake: Radio City, and they, so they were gonna have a spectacular, but they got canceled. So there was this theory that that was why it was, that was why it got moved. There's been lots of, you know, do people wanna have more time? I honestly have listened to so much coverage. Too much time. Justin: I get it over with too much. Um. I'll be done with this already. Jake: But again, once this happens, it literally does nothing. It's like a void for many, many months. I mean, the workouts or whatever, it does always kind of like, oh look, he's throwing the ball. So. Justin: This is nuts though. I was watching the NFL Network last night. I was watching Mayox Mock. Jake: Yes. His 17th mock. Justin: His official one. His new
01 Jake: official now. He did the first round. Justin: Right. and he had us taking a receiver. Well, we're going to talk about hard cars. Sorry, we'll get to ours. He had us taking the receiver out of, uh, was it, uh, Oregon State? Jake: Don't! It might be one of them prospective. Justin: That's the guy that he did I'm just saying and then they had like commercials they were like and then tomorrow start off your draft day It's 6 a.m. Sam Jake: with NFL A. In and then at one or might see the field in two years. Justin: Well, absolutely, I'll rate the second round of the NBA playoffs. For sure. Jake: So the real big one this year, I mean, there's always like the thing like years and years ago, actually, when the Houston Texans had their previous first pick, it was the big Reggie Bush versus Mario Williams and Vince Young. and it was like who should you pick? The quarterback, whatever. And this year it's kind of the same, it's like we've got a quarterback and we've got, you know, we've got this, you know, clowny guy who's like- Justin: The Texan's been in existence. I don't know. 15 years? I don't know. This is like the time they've had the first overall pick. Jake: So the big one is really do they take the quarterback or people trying to trade down trade out whatever I don't My big prediction for this for this draft is that all this trading BS is just smokescreen and that no one really wants to trade because the values Justin: Aren't really there anymore. Yeah, the old draft card doesn't work anymore. It's new money, but the tech Who's their quarterback right now? Who's there starting quarterback cuz shab is gone. Shab is gone. It's like so is it case, you know, yeah draft a fucking quarterback Jake: You idiot that's what the so so the big ticket sort of not me doing anything about draft But just sort of the talk on the town is that this is a very heavy quarterback draft and a very heavy wide receiver draft tight end, safety, and light. So wait till the second round to draft your quarterback? Yeah, like Dino Smith. Remember last year, when the first round wasn't rejected to go in the first round? And then people picked up quarterbacks like Ryan, is that one? Massive? But none of these guys. Justin: But no with their backups now, they were... But since then you're the starter. Jake: Yeah. Justin: Well, yeah. Case Keenum started like eight or nine games last year and won zero. I'm just saying. Jake: I think there's starters in the quarterback draft. I think there's three. I think there's four. There's Russell Wilson's in there somewhere.
02 Justin: We'll see. Jake: And so where are you on Johnny Football? You always say- I love. Justin: Why? I just love him. I think he's got it. Oh, please. And I think he has super talent. He's can throw. You know what? He can run. He's a winner. He's tiny. So is Russell Wilson. So is Drew b He's a winner. Russell Wilson doesn't play like a chicken with his head shut off. He sure as hell did when he was a rookie. He runs around like nobody's business out there. , you just tell this guy listen don't take a beating he's going get out of bounds Jake: He holds the ball do whatever he bails on his he owns on the routes too Too fast he tries to run you're talking like a scout yet Justin: You know like you watched him even play one game Did you watch him play one game a full game in college? I know the answers no you don't watch college football. He was the most exciting entertaining football player to watch last season bar none so is Tebow who Tebow he wasn't exciting he fucking ran into the line college he was excited no he was fucking bullshit he ran into the line you knew he couldn't throw Jake: here's prediction prediction is Johnny Monzell It doesn't do anything spectacular in the National Football League. Justin: I love them. I think if the Jets could draft them, I would love to draft Johnny Madelves. They're not going to, but I would love it if they could. So, I love Johnny football. Jake: Let's take some predictions off the top. Yeah. How many...the Jets are going in with 12s, tied with the Rams for no sense. Justin: Four of which we cannot trade. Right. Jake: How many players do we end up out of the draft? Justin: The roster just picking no picking Jake: That's gonna say whether you think we're gonna do stuff. How many do I want or think? predicting Eight eight you said so you think we actually trade away enough picks we're gonna move around you think so Justin: Maybe not like early but in those mid rounds we might move up in the second We might move up in the fourth or something like that like don't move around because they'll have guys targeted in the mid Rounds that they're gonna want and think that they may have to move over a team or two to get so my position Jake: Perspective he will not move an inch he will literally sit and take every 12 players and and part of me is happy with that if it happens because here's what the draft is The draft is a crapshoot and all you do is you take a bunch of guys you then throw them into mini camps and training camps and then sometimes they pan out and sometimes they turn into crap. But the more guys you can pick, the better your chance of getting one or two good guys. Justin: I can see him moving up for like to move up into the second round to have like two second round picks. Right. Or move up into the third, like have like two third round picks.
03 Justin: I think we have three or four fourth round picks. Like I could see us moving up into the second round. Jake: So officially we have first, second, third, three fours, five, four sixes, seven. I mean that's... But a lot of those are ones that... Justin: You can't trade. You can't trade. But you trade the ones you can trade and you move around a little bit. Jake: I don't think he's going to. I just don't think he... I mean again, one of the nicknames of John Isick is Glacier, the Glacier. And so like I feel like... Justin: There'll be a guy that they've pegged and they'll say, we want this guy, it doesn't look like we'll be able to get him and they'll want to move up to grab him. With 12 picks, I just don't see the purpose of drafting 12 guys because 12 guys can't fit on a roster. Jake: Right, but then if you end up with 8 who fit on your roster, I mean, even 8 don't fit Justin: on a roster. . You can't even draft eight guys and get them all on your roster. It's too many guys. I got the squad, whatever. It's just too many guys. Jake: All right, so let's talk needs, draft needs. Draft needs. Give me your top three Jets needs right now. Justin: Right now. Jake: Yeah, so you put out a position. Justin: OK. Wide receiver. Agreed. Corner. Agreed. Oh, I waver, but I want to say like a rush linebacker really not tight end the need No, wow, okay? No, I don't I mean I Think you can do without a tight end that you're draft to develop like I Okay, need one of these tight end Cumberland's a wide receiver type who catches the ball and you've got a, a couple other big bodies out there that can Blah, you need them like I don't really necessarily feel like that's a need in the draft They'll draft one though. You got all these fucking picks. Jake: Well, me too. I listened to way too much crap on the draft. All right. So let's do it. Let's go round by round. You said you were not going to do round by round kicks. Justin: No, I will not. Jake: But you're going to do position. You're going to do first round, aren't you? Justin: First round I will pick a guy and then I will go position. Jake: Are we going to stay in 18 in the first round? Justin: It's a tough one.
00 Jake: Um, I actually am in a bet with somebody so I had to pick all first 18 picks so I could I mean Justin: Here's here's the deal. If I was If I was jacksonville I would pick him You would pick a Met, you would pick up for Jacksonville. Okay. I would, cause I feel like there's a definite need there for quarterback. There's needs for lots of stuff for Jacksonville, but you know what the biggest need at Jacksonville is? In SEC country, butts in seats. And Manziel puts people in the seats. It's the same people couldn't get the T-boat. I don't know why they did not do that. That would have put the butts in the seats. Jake: True, winning all sports both in seats. Yeah, but I do. I think he's going to go to Jacksonville. Justin: I don't make a prediction. I think I think he'll I think Jacksonville could draft him and he might slide. I mean, look, I'll lean to what Mayoch did and he had the Cowboys drafted him at 16. Right. And I could see him go, I could, if he's sitting there at 16, I could see Jerry Jones being like, I want the Texas boy. And he's a Romo type player. Right. And he can sit there. So he's won all those championships like Romo has. Oh, he's done better in college than Romo ever did in college. But he's, he plays a similar style. He can sit there for a year and learn and whatever. Jake: Draft, the Cowboys should get booed off the stage as they draft man. They have so many needs. that they need to put stuff not into a quarterback which they have and have a good quarterback. So all right uh if he if manzell falls to if you okay if you were the jet and you had the number one pick my number one overall pick the jets trade up to number one yeah who would they pick Justin: uh i think they would probably pick kaleel mac Jake: Really? So you think they would pick the second best guy or whatever they're saying? Justin: I just think if you look at the Jets roster, like it'd be freaking awesome to have Clowney. He just there's no room, right? Like it's like all right. We draft Clowney now we trade kopals or something, right? But they don't even play the same position like Clowney's a 4-3 Defensive end and we play 3-4. It's not a scheme fit. Right? So but Max a linebacker Yeah, and and he's let's just highly rate it get a good linebacker in here right Jake: so i have kwani going i feel like all this is bullshit kwani go to houston just like yeah i think kwani goes to houston but Justin: then i i could see st louis trading i don't think they need to sit there at two with the number 13 pick get a haul for that pick again and just keep rolling this forward and just keep building that team up. Jake: I have them dating Sammy Watkins and I have Manzel going to Cleveland. Justin: wouldn't Cleveland be a great spot for Sammy Watkins on the other side of Josh Jake: Gordon that was fun you'll fall there but anyway I have cool Matt go into Justin: jack a lot of people have Watkins falling to like
02 Justin: them or Oakland. Jake: All right, so let's make, so the Jets, number 18, we both think he's gonna, they're gonna stay. Justin: Yeah, what position do you think they're picking? Jake: So I think they're gonna pick, again, this is me predicting the first 18 picks and thinking that there's guys who, if we have had fell to us, that they would pick. So here's, oh, I'll do my other thing, so I think, if man's hell fell, like I could see them taking him just and getting booed off the stage, but I could see them doing it. Okay. Right, because Vic for all intents and purposes, who's now the backup, he's one year. He's a one year dude. So, and Matt Sims isn't the guy of the future. So if you're thinking, and we drafted a second round quarterback last year, if you're thinking, hey, we could throw a guy on there who can either be a backup and learn or a future, I used to do it. The one that I think that's not gonna follow us, that I think that they would like, is the tight end. Is Eeyore. Arigibrah. Yeah, but I think he's gonna go, Justin: I think the giants are gonna pick him. Jake: Yeah, I don't think he'll go buy giants. Giants could use the tight end. So I think it's gonna be, you know, the top one or two. Wide receivers are gonna go. Yep. I think Watkins is off the board and I think the Jets are gonna end up with Maybe have the same pick. Let's see. What are the wide end? Evans go I think we're gonna have a different pick. I've Evans going off and I have what's going off and distrusting the other Justin: You and I are gonna have different pick here Odell Beckham wide receiver Jake: I knew you were gonna pick like one of those guys. Yeah, I think I think he's both a good fit We've shown, interested in them. They did a, someone wrote up an article saying, like of all the past drafts, people we've actually had come to our facility, like how many we picked, it was pretty clear. Like guys who we had come, like we actually, like big come, he's a load. Justin: We actually picked. So you want your receiver. I also think they'll pick receiver. Yes, who do you think it's gonna end up with? I want Marquis Lee. Okay, I want Mark Kiesley. I watched him play Like not last year. He was injured. I watched him play last year when he was injured It was clear he was injured But you know, I'm a Notre Dame fan and they play USC every year and and you know I get to see USC play at least a couple times a year because they're always on TV The dude is a monster. He's so fast and he's just always open and you know, yeah, Matt Barkley throwing on the ball. Like he's a really good receiver and I think he's being completely undervalued because he had an injury in his last season. But if you go look at the season before... The guy went absolutely ape shit. He's way better. He was the better receiver between him and the guy who the Bills drafted last year in the third round, Woods. And Woods had a good rookie season. But Lee was the guy in the same offense. He was far superior to Woods. I think Marquise Lee is gonna be a really good pro.
01 Justin: So that's who I would want the Jets to draft. And I think it'd be slightly controversial, because guys like Beckham, and there's the one other guy, Cooks. They'll all probably be there, and the Jets are gonna make a decision. And they'll either be right or wrong. Jake: Well, there's five guys sort of sliding for the first round. So, we're gonna be like top 10 picks. No one feels they're gonna drop out of top 10. Now there's rumors that Jess will move up in a 10 to grab one of those. Justin: Don't see it happening. Jake: But Evans maybe, I mean he's just big. Yeah, but 6'5", 2'9", the monster. Justin: He also had thrown him the ball. Yes. Makes a difference. Jake: Yeah, just scrambling around, throwing a ball for the Aesco to find. Yeah, that's great. Justin: Now, you are so wrong. I want to do a wager with you about him. Jake: Yeah, let's do it. Pretty long the board. Justin: I don't know what it's going to be, but let's figure out a wager with him. Jake: Does he start day one? Depends what team drafts him. Well if he's that good you just start another what I guess that's true Russell Wilson pulled that off if you're if you're if you're drafting someone in the top ten at a quarterback Does he go in the top ten? He's so good. I think people are scared of him. Oh, he's so good Justin: They're scared of him. Well people were scared of Russell Wilson's height. Yeah, they were scared of him Jake: I think I think he's gonna be really good. All right, so he gets he wins rookie of the year his first year if he plays Offensive for Q of the Year. He's so good, he can't even hit the field. Offensive for Q of the Year. Yeah, you want to make that bet? Yeah. All right. How much? Nothing. Bottle liquor. All right. Another bottle liquor. Put that in my other two-year bet with you. All right, so you have them taking Marquis Lee, and I have them taking Odell Beckham. So that leaves us a second round. Now you said you're not going to go and give me second round picks, but what position do they pick in the second round? Justin: Uh, corner. Jake: Corner? Who do you have them taking? Justin: No idea. Jake: Oh, okay. Justin: Whoever's there, somebody will be there. Jake: So would you be surprised if they took a corner in the first round? Justin: No. Here's my thing on the corner. I don't like it. I wouldn't want them to. It would mean that like three of the last five years they picked a first round corner. Like I wouldn't like that at all. Jake: Well, it happens... Well, here's the logic to pick a corner this year in the first round or second round. Is that there are... It's a volume thing. There are not as many good corners as there are good wide receivers. The wide receiver is very deep. Very deep so great so you can in the second round maybe get one of these guys The leaves the cooks whatever they might drop the second round so well, that's where the trade-up factor comes in Okay, so you think they're taking a corner if you look at corners right now You have no idea who you'd want no Justin: There's like four or five they say that these guys are good fits these guys aren't because they play zone and these guys play man Jake: I don't know the word they all have on going their first round So I'm going to give up my third pick because it is a corner.
01 Jake: I think they actually dropped a corner and I think the guy who just had a sort of an issue he's going to drop. He was a first round guy but I think he's going to drop all the way to third round and the Jets are going to pick up Bradley Robbie. He just got caught for not driving under intoxication but like operating. Justin: Is that the Ohio State guy? Jake: Yeah. Yeah. And he like, he literally just fell asleep behind the wheel. He didn't, wasn't in a moving vehicle, but whatever. He passed up behind the wheel. I could totally see them drafting him because he'll drop. He was supposed to be a first round guy. Great. Draft him. So, drafting in the third round. I have them taking in the second round, um, in my mock, my mock draft. So much fun. It's so crazy because you just think like, well, if they do this, they do this. It's all just a guess. Troy Nicholas. Tight end. Justin: Okay from Notre Dame. Yep Jake: He's alright big guy. He's big six seven two seventy He's you know, I don't think he was Tommy Favorite target or or Safarin Jake ins those are the guys are kind of him I don't think any of them are gonna really drop He's a good player Justin: Notre Dame has a really nice little tradition going over the last 10 to 12 years of putting out pretty decent pro tight ends. And then who do you have them. So I have been taking quarter. So I had wide receiver corner and here's where I think they start trying to just put together some some rus start to replenish the stock on on linebackers. Do you think they pick a linebacker? I think in the in the third and fourth they got like five picks there. Yep. Two of them are linebackers. Wow. So again you say that they're gonna Jake: trade up trade up around but then you're not you're telling them to take a lot of players keep a lot of players. Justin: Well, I'm just picking what they have I can't just say oh they're gonna trade up to the second round and pick four guys So you haven't biggie linebacker in the third round. Yeah. All right. Yeah an outside linebacker a guy who can rush the passer Jake: So third I said I'm gonna take a pick a corner Fourth round this is where we get to we have was it four picks in the fourth round lots of picks pick four Pick 15 and pick 37 Wow So what do you have in picking those four picks? I have players for those picks. Justin: There'll be definitely an offensive lineman, like an inside guy, a guard, maybe a backup center, that kind of thing, a safety, and probably another wide receiver. Jake: So I agree with the wide receiver. I think there's a guy. you know on the draft boards Paul Richardson I think they're gonna pick him up okay yep uh I'll pull him off if you want but here's my surprise here's my here's my surprise of the draft well you're gonna say when it happens you know whatever when I can't be watching the draft um I think round four Pick 15, if this happens, I almost like picking the Super Bowl.
03 Jake: Quarterback, Aaron Murray from Georgia. Justin: Okay. Jake: I just think this guy's gonna fall and I think it's a good pickup. When you have so many picks in that ground, pick up a quarterback, a good quarterback. Not a project, but again, I think you bring him in, he easily breathes out Matt Sims as your third guy. Then next year, when you lose Vic, because you're losing Vic, no matter what, right? He's no longer your backup. You need to have a backup. And do you want to... I know I'm already looking at next year. If Gino's the greatest guy on the planet, great. You still need a backup from Gino, right? And you might need something in the future. Chino's now the third, that's his third year, right? We're now into the four year contract. You pick up the fifth year. You have to start thinking this way. Anyway, he got hurt last year, but he got hurt in the middle of the year, but he was very productive. He's gonna drop because he was hurt. I have been picking up Aaron Murray, and then I have a linebacker in there, like Preston Brown. I don't know, I just put something in. That's when I start to go like, I don't know, these guys. They don't mean anything to me anymore. So other any other surprises you think that they're going to take? So you have them. Justin: There's no surprises. No, I really think I think they might trade a little bit. I think they'll be a focus early on more speed, like speed players, right? of- wide receiver, corner, edge rusher, and then I think it'll transition to beefier players like Lineman. They're gonna draft in the later rounds like a... You know, a guy like in the Ellis mold or because both of those guys, what's his face? The starting nose tackle. I'm snacks. So snacks and Ellis are both, I think, their last year under contract. So they're just going to pick a big dude like that again. and the offensive line is getting old, so they're gonna replenish that. And I also think with this dearth of picks, you're right, like they'll pick like special teamers just all over the place. Like you'll see them pick probably four DBs, whether they be corners or safeties to be like gunners on special teams. Like linebackers to play special teams. What what pick would you be absolutely a surprise to that? Jake: Or is there nothing they could do that would surprise you? Nothing that this team In the second round that would surprise me. I don't think they need a running back at this point in the second round Justin: I'm not necessary fourth fifth sixth round. I would that's fine. I mean those guys are special teams players, right? We're not gonna have good sin, you know, they're gonna cut them. So as a fourth running back rookie, that's fine.
01 Jake: I guess, I mean, it just feels like it's a very, it's a, it's not a crowded back field, but you got three guys. Justin: Yeah, but you could pick a running back as a rookie that never plays and that's fine. And they can, they can never dress. They could be on the roster and just never dress, right? But then if an injury happened, I mean, Ivory is not like Mr. Dependable. No, he's not. So, I mean... Chris Johnson is on the other hand not gunwood and and you know, blah paul hasn't been an injury guy either he stays healthy, so You know, you got two dependable guys back there and a guy who's just not dependable at all Like chris irie gets hurt every year. There's something so I can see him drafting. Uh, I mean running backs play Special teams too. You're in the middle of the draft and the end of the draft. You're drafting a lot for special teams and hoping that a guy can break out as a Jake: position player. So make a long-term prediction. Yeah. Game one. Game one. How many? So you said they would draft eight players. Yeah, I think eight. Justin: How many starters are those eight? Last year, I got five last year. By the end of the year, we had five. I think we had five. Even by the beginning of the year. I think it was the first game. We had five starters. So I'm just trying to think. Game one. Again, you can take it as you're you Start the year with Patterson and and Milner as the starting corners and I think the starting safeties are Alan So we two when Patterson's her who's then maybe whoever we draft steps in or We have a lot what the deal is with Kyle Wilson. I don't know why Like maybe it's because he's been on the team and been having to play nickel the whole time that it's like all of a sudden it's a mental thing he doesn't play outside. Anytime he does it's penalties galore. So he just doesn't play outside. Jake: Wasn't he the one last year? Last year two years ago he got the double penalties. That was last year. Justin: Because someone got hurt. Whatever and he had to go play outside. But again, they re-signed Darren Walls to play outside They signed me tree Patterson who by everything I read is a better nickel player than he is outside even better on the slot. I Don't see the corner that they draft and they will draft one if not two starting unless he blows everybody away in training camp I I don't know if they you know They did a good job in free agency as much as people might want to bash them. They have talent across the line.
00 Justin: They have talent across the offensive line and defensive line. Give me a... They have their starting quarterback on the roster. Whoever they draft to the Jets fans boo. No, no, if they draft a receiver, they will cheer that receiver. If they draft a corner, they will cheer that corner. Jake: And I'm telling you, if they draft a linebacker in the first round, if they draft a linebacker Justin: in the first round, they may, but maybe not. Like there's that edge rusher from UCLA. I don't know his name, but if he slips down to that position, I don't want him because as they say he's like a project. And to me it smells of Vernon Goulston, and I don't want anything to do with it, but um I Mean I feel Auburn UCLA UCLA bar. I think his name is Something bar hmm Okay, but I know I think I think they'll be in all-around positive. Or Anthony Barr. Yeah, Anthony Barr. I mean, he was like. Yeah, he's a first-round producer. He's a first-rounder. And when the Mocs first started 22 weeks ago, he was in the top five. And now he's somewhere in the middle of the first round. Jake: I guess I'm going to be a homeowner, and we've got to wrap the show up a little bit. But I. looking at Labstraft, looking at the players we got, looking who started, looking how they kind of took, they took best available, right? They took Geno Smith at a best available. They did not, it was not a need. I mean, it was a need, but it wasn't a need. Like, if they'd never taken Geno Smith, St. Jeffs wouldn't have been in the fourth round, and I mean, like, you know, the history of the Jets would have been different. So I think they're, they were a very even team, you know? Izzik is just, he's a very... plotting guy. He's not emotional, he's not whatever. He's just gonna play the board. And so I think that's his advantage or the advantage to him. And so he's not gonna do anything splashy. But again, if we end up with another five starters, five starters, A, that'd be pretty cool. It'd be very good. You know, there's needs all over. There's corner, there's safety, there's wide receiver, there's tight end. I mean, you could immediately just, if all those positions got upgraded... You'd be like, great. Justin: And then you'd get some big fat guys in the middle that would help out or back up. I love drafting beef in the middle of the draft. My favorite thing. Jake: Well, we have a beefy middle. So we should just, for this fourth round, and we just go all draft beef. It's a beef fatty. Justin: I love it. No, I love it. Just draft big dudes. One of them will work out. Jake: One of them will work out. They will. Justin: It's like, it'll happen. Look at snacks. It worked out. Like, these dudes. It's... Work out when you draft a bunch of them. It's when you only draft like one You're like, that's my guy like Vlad Dukas. They don't work out But when you draft four Vlad Dukas is because you have four fourth round picks One of them will work out and that's where you make out
02 Jake: Speaking of making out will be no podcast for two weeks. I make out because you'll be making out Justin: R So it's possible we could try and squeeze something in on Monday. Oh god, now you're... I don't want to promise anything, but you know, if like big shit happens, we may have to come on the air. Here's the thing, I'm leaving it all up to Justin. If Johnny Mandel gets drafted by the Jets, we're on the. Jake: I'm saying it's all up to Justin and his excitement about the draft. If he's excited enough to give up his vacation time to pop a podcast out there on the planet, then we'll do it. If not... you know his rating of basic B plus or above will be there see my Justin: other thing I'm not not watching any bit of the draft I'll probably tonight I'll be there tickets tickets I only and you've already invited I didn't invite them to someone else and Jake: We were both invited. I'm going with a Dolphin stand who's picking right behind us. That's kind of fun. We get to see ourselves. Same guys last year? Same guys last year. Justin: Oh, you guys will have a good time. Jake: Yeah. Well, the person who got us tickets got us tickets. Right. The two of of you. Yes, the two of us. All right. That's it. Just podcast. We're out. Jacob Justin, as always saying... Go Jets!
