00:20 Jake: Welcome to the Jekkynan Podcast, the longest running New York Jets podcast. Period. period. I'm Jake joining me 246 times in a row Justin, how you doing, buddy? Hola, are you feeling are you feeling? I'm better. I'm good and oh I'm good now. I'm good I'm no longer ill you no longer ill you over my illness. We didn't do a podcast on Monday. That's my bad Justin: I I couldn't even talk I could barely speak I Am feeling much better now. I'm feeling Jake: ecstatic about the start to our season. Well, we will get into that and everything. And everything, we're gonna, so we got a big podcast today. Oh yeah. And no competition for any other podcast. Nope. I was just watching the recap of the game one. So we're gonna talk about game one. We're gonna talk about game two. We're gonna pick our play of the game, our nights of the game. And then we'll do your, you of the who impressed and who depressed. Yeah. Justin: You know, it's gonna be tough to come up with a. Jake: Depressant. Yeah, they were gonna bring these injuries down to this Here my shit around yes, because you don't know how to do this anymore You piece of garbage versus oh your wheels yeah, yeah, yeah dipshit Justin: Well, you don't know how to use documents. Jake: I just did that. That was pretty slick. And then we'll talk about, maybe we'll go over, I want to kind of talk a little bit about sort of just overall impressions. We've had two games. This team is sort of starting to take shape. Like, we're kind of, I hate to say, but preseason, you really can't tell what kind of team this is going to be. No. Until they actually, you know. Real put on pads. I also feel like we haven't really met anybody really yet Like I I think you're gonna look back at the end of the season like last year Didn't we start against somebody we start against Oakland last year, right? Justin: And we beat them. Yeah, but we knew we were gonna beat them Jake: And we were so I was like whatever and then they just turned to be then we went through the gauntlet Justin: I I don't think looking back I think the Colts are making the playoffs. You still think they are? Absolutely fucking Lutely. They started 0-2 last year. Like that. That's the thing. You don't have a quarterback that good and miss the playoffs. Like it's hard to do. I think they're very close. Jake: They played two of the best defenses in the league in my opinion. I I don't think they did. I think they played one of the best defenses of the league. Because that sec, that best defense, the next week gave up what, a 35 burger? 40 burger. But that'll happen when you play time. Timmy Brady. At home? Timmy Brady motherfucker. I don't think he's coming to the jet stadium and put up a 40 burger.
03:02 Jake: We've done it at his house. In fact when he comes to our house, I think we keep him under like Bob Fumble game was pretty brutal So but how much was that time you Brady? Suck chest he threw one I threw an interception whatever doesn't matter. All right, so let's talk about let's talk Let's turn off with game one. That's Brown's home opener Johnny football you and I were there It was not Johnny football. It was a little story Justin: about game one. You may not remember game one because it was so long ago. Yeah, so many wins ago. Yes. You're sitting there in the first quarter and you're like, we suck. Like this offense sucks. I never said we suck. You're like, this defense looks so questionable. They were. You're like, you're sitting there like, I don't know. This doesn't look good. This looks bad. What's with this defense why can't what's with this offense we can Do anything we can't throw we can't run but you're so but yes reactionary Super sit now. I'm a fan. I'm like that's what the game was showing me. Hey, dude, you're not seeing the big picture No, you're not seeing big picture. I was relaxed shit. It's can't be like, oh look Jake: I told you from the first quarter when we were Oh, we were seven. We're losing with seven. We just we had just seen a backup quarterback Who's terrible who just got replaced again with a concussed guy come come down the field run all over us Justin: Wait, but he didn't touch down. He threw one touchdown now Jake: I understand but you're saying what my reaction was your reaction was very very short-sighted Justin: It was not reasonable. No, it was very shy. I am a you're sitting there and you were like, oh my god Jake: We lost the first quarter of the first absolutely absolutely and you know what you're the Wong's you're the guy who thinks we're gonna win 10 games I still think this team is you know slightly above average. If you think they're a seven win team then you think we're only winning five more games the rest of the year. I think they're seven I didn't pick Justin: seven I picked nine. Nine? Yeah. Then you still think we're only winning 7 more games the rest of the year. Jake: I think we need to meet some real teams. I think we did. Nope. Justin: I think we went to somebody's house on Monday night. Yes. And did some damage. Did some work. And let's get to first game. Put in work. Your big story was... Jake: Put in work, bitch. Your big story. You're a terrible broadcaster today. You're a terrible broadcaster today. I'm a broadcaster. Yeah, now you're sucking today. So... What so just for your big story is that I was doubtful you were you're destroyed by a backup quarterback You're a mess. You were sitting there like oh, I don't know. Yes Justin: I don't know that's exactly right that I was right same back of quarterback through that same pass twice just this past week Jake: Yes, same dude. Clearly. That's like the play like yes only and it wasn't being covered. I Yeah, I know But they didn't beat us. And then he got benched. Well, he's a backup. Anyway, so we beat the backup. So, all right, so again, you're right. At the beginning of the game, I am a fan.
06:00 Jake: I am fanatical. I'm not reasonable. I'm not logical. I wear my jets on my sleeve. I see it. I calls it as I see it. You wear your jets underwear right on your cock. Yeah. We're- to where you're underwear. I wear underwear elsewhere. Yeah, all right. Yeah, and as I just before you were late to the podcasting booth, I was just rewatching it and if you rewatch that. Justin: How dare you call us a booth. Jake: If you rewatch the first quarter like I did, you go, wow, they look terrible. They were running on us. They were making big plays. Crow was off. He got burned for a touchdown. It did look bad. How did it end up? Then we ended up winning the game. By how many points? We ended up, well, we turned the ball over five times. That's what we do. We turn the ball over five times every game. But if you do anything on average, you don't. I know everything. Justin: Everyone who listens to this knows I know a lot more than you. Jake: You'll know that turning games over, turning turnovers are so unpredictable. They can go a season and you can have some some spots, but you can't look go into a game going Well, we're gonna beat the Patriots because they're gonna turn over the ball. Actually the the harder thing to predict and what we've Justin: We've been extremely lucky with his fumbles Like you know, there's going to be fumbles, right? You can't say is who's gonna get the ball, right? Jake: We've recovered every fucking fumble even our own. Yeah, right like That's incredible. That's not gonna keep happening. No, it's statistically impossible. And I also don't believe it when they, I've been watching all the interviews at the end and they're like, we train to get turnovers. What defense doesn't train to get turnovers? No, but there are defenses and the Bears defense Justin: under Lovey Smith for all those years when they went to the Super Bowl with. you know, Rex Grossman as their quarterback. They were, they were a defense that was built to turn teams over. Like they went after every ball, stripping balls. Like, I think that is something where you know, and I know as we run our business, if you focus on something like a laser beam. you are bound to achieve at a certain level at that particular thing. So if you are really focusing and saying, we're gonna cause some fumbles, we wanna rip at that ball, we wanna knock that ball out, Jake: you can focus on it. You think about the fumbles and when I were jumping into the second game, we even think about those fumbles. And I've watched that game twice now, maybe three times. We've made the quarterbacks fumble quite a bit. Yes. So that's clearly one of those fumbles was he just fumbled it. No, by no means. Gore literally literally untouched and he's not a fumbler. Justin: And he just dropped. Jake: So let's keep going with the Browns game. Browns. Browns. Good game. It was a great way to start the season. Awesome. Just walk out of that stadium and feel so damn good. So give me the. Give me your play of the game. No, we'll get into the god. There were so many plays that came Justin: I mean, there's one that I would take but I mean So there's one play that I can think of that was kind of like if we were on that show
09:00 Justin: What's that show called turning point to turning point show be like well, I guess this would be kind of a big one was the play where the ball was snapped over Fitz's head and you inexplicably ran and snagged the ball on his backside with like three defensive linemen on his shoulders which basically could have just given the Browns the ball at the two yard line right but instead allowed us to not give them the ball there and punt and sort of save some points so while it's not a really sexy play it's It's a kind of a big play in the game. So I'm going to go with that's my play of the game. Jake: Mine is not a bad one. Mine is the interception. Um, I like to pick when our quarterback throws interception as the play of the game, cause, oh, that was a good play. He forgot about it, didn't you? For a second. Cause how could happen after you not pick that play. It's one of the most amazing plays I've seen in a long time. Justin: I would just say that Brandon Marshall is. an outstanding football player. We'll get to that. Jake: So yes, they threw the interception, well, it's in who's impressed and who deep breaths. Oh, okay. A lot of people are impressed. Through the interception, which is the thing that I think I'm going to kind of, you know, put a little damper on the Fitz Magic is that he's forcing balls into eight coverage, double coverage, wherever Brandon is, sometimes it's working, sometimes they're intercepting him, sometimes... It's just it's this close to being intercept both of his picks have been Justin: Marshall targets right both of them. Yeah, so the Cleveland game which turned out to be an interception and then fumble right whatever Well, yes, so Marshall turns that that's my play the end all over But the one in Indy was also like you know what? And it's kind of plays, I don't necessarily mind. I've got a big dude. Jake: He's running down the sideline. He's got a schmuck on him. I'm going to throw it up. Right. But he's got another schmuck on the other side of him. The thing was, he threw it into two guys. Right. So that the safety. A lot that game. Threw it into three guys to like a wussu. And I'm like, not the throw, not the throw. Well, my thing is, if there's three guys on one guy, there's someone else sitting out there who is. absolutely, you know, just not, you know, absolutely open. So if there's three on one, then there's someone else who's just sitting there like, hi, can you throw me the ball? You know who I would be feeling very sad for right now in this offense? Jeremy Carlin? No, because I think he'll be back this week because of all of it. You know who's not involved in the game at all? Jeremy Curley, well besides it big come now the tight ends don't catch the ball. Holy shit I have never I mean not meant for not meant for Jet tight ends not at all. There is like nothing. I'll notice they spread it out Yeah quite a bit and one of those people could have been Amara Justin: Oh, she's more of a receiving threat, right and I think
12:00 Justin: Anoon was kind of taking that spot right bigger Yeah, kind of kind of a tight end but really a receiver but sort of in the tweener He kind of drops balls more than he should He dropped one. I thought that was a drop the other wasn't Necessarily would have been a kind of not wasn't a good throw Jake: All right, he did make a big catch. So give me your night of the game for the Browns game Then we'll go on to the Colts game Great. By the way, we both predicted they would win the Browns game. We both did. I'm gonna, my way back machine, I'm wondering what that game looks like if Manziel didn't come in. Like, I feel like he's a terrible quarterback. It probably looks just about the same. I feel like they would have kept it closer, but whatever. Okay, so who's your night of the game? Remember I think if you go one side I have to go the other side. I'm gonna go with Ivory for this one. Ivory okay. I had a great game. Set the tone, ran hard, Justin: scored a couple touchdowns. I think he even had one like call back on a hold. Ran over a dude on his second touchdown. I was like, I was like, all right I'm gonna run in from the 10. You're gonna try and tackle me at the 5 and I'm just gonna Jake: leave you there. Yep. So I'm gonna go with Ivory. I will go the... Oh, I have to go defense. No, we don't have to. We don't have to follow any rules. It's hard. You know what? Actually, I'm gonna give this person because he did more than I expected. Although, I mean, I basically would pick Marshall. I just pick Marshall. I just keep picking Marshall because he's now in two games made two of the most amazing, not most amazing, but two really, really good plays that are just game changers. One, taking away the pat. I mean, the way he's catching it. But like, he just looks like a competitor. and I haven And I haven't seen I just we've R the discussion on the podcast who in your Jets knowledge history what what? What. What NFL, you know wide receiver Did you see that has played at the level that now it's a long season ago That's played at the Brandon Marshall level in these two games and it's been that much of a game changer Between the force fumbles the grabs the the running the catch a, and,,. and and he's making great decisions, Yeah. Who is it and it's in the NFL or for the have you seen as in the Jets play out for the Jets? Justin: Going back just because of his size. It's Kishan. Yeah, I mean remember And there were some years you got to remember like in the Pennington years where Lavernius Cole's had some really good seasons. Right. And while this isn't, I mean, they're not the the greatest comparison because they're very different. I'm sorry. just not built in the same mold.
15:00 Justin: You know, Marshall's six five, Kribet's five six. Like they're they're not the same player at all. But I mean, there have been some impactful players. I think this is what we wanted out of a San Antonio Holmes right and didn't get a classical burris Yeah, I mean he was a little or Brailling Edwards my words. I guess this is kind of what we thought but This guy's the real deal, right? He's and he's still very good and it was like is he over the hill? He's he's not he's- still actually pretty fast when you see him catch the ball And then he gets a lot of yards after the catch and he's physical and he makes the right moves he cuts in he cuts out he's he's a very physical guy and if to me if there's like a If there's like a fourth and four situation on the goal line and we need to score a touchdown to win the game, I want him to just throw a jump ball to him. Right. And that's my play. Like just do it. Jake: Throw it in the air high enough for him to go make a play. Right. Um, so I would say him, I guess I'd pick him. I'm going to give my little, the guy who's sort of. I guess in this game impressed me more than I thought because that interception didn't turn out to be anything was Fitzpatrick. I thought Fitzpatrick really played well I thought he played above where I think he is. I think he's like a C plus He's a C plus quarterback and I feel like he played it like a B plus effort in that game So then so it was interesting is week one our week two opponent is there getting destroyed by the best bills are just Rexing in it up just ruling the cult and we're like, whoa We're seeing the game. We're seeing the score go up and I actually watched part of the game on Rewind because I was like I want to see like what they did because I didn't see the whole game so I started watching it. And so when we go up against them on Monday night I'm thinking I think we I mean we were I think originally I think I forget I picked him to lose that game Justin: I I believe I did too. I figured they'd be opener Monday night and I was like, yeah That doesn't see yeah Jake: Inable and we've not really performed well in that house But what we didn't know is that basically their entire secondary was gonna be injured and the one guy who's actually not injured got injured Justin: in the UI Hilton Uh, was kind of a shell of himself. He's their big play guy. Andre Johnson's over the hill unlike Brandon Marshall. Frank Gore. I thought they had the running game going. I don't know why they stopped. It was a weird game. It was it felt I Lot like the game that we won against the Colts in the playoffs where we kept beating Manning and it was like Yes, it was like third and whatever and and we would stop them and be like, holy shit We just stopped Manning on like third and one or third and two or whatever and it was like, wow, we're stopping Andrew luck We're turning Andrew luck over which I guess isn't that hard because apparently he's had the most turnovers
18:00 Jake: Since the beginning of last year. He's not playing at the Andrew luck level like He's not he's not making it. It's not Russell Wilson any day and oh Jesus your your Russell Wilson man. Love is Strong on a bad so my the Owen to Russell will have so much Russell Wilson duck butter all over me It's great. Maybe you go good. Yeah, anyway, um, I But his throws were off. I mean those throws that he I was watching again I watched that game again, too, and I was like This is not the Andrew Locks that I know. We were all over him. We were all over him, but that's usually his thing. He can still make those throws. And yes, we were in his face, and we actually didn't get him as many times. There were times like we had five guys over him, and he still throws them all. I remember texting you like, what the fuck is he, Big Ben or something? You can't tackle Big Ben. Right. You don't sack him. You just... Throws it anyway. You just hope that you trip him. Yeah, I hope he falls or falls or you like hit his arm while he's throwing something Justin: but That that general manager of that team has really let Andrew luck down right? That's I mean that's kind of a I Mean, it's great for anyone who's not a Colts fan. But if I'm a Colts fan I'm fucking livid because What are you doing? You have a franchise legit quarterback and you've given him a Bullshit offensive line. I mean they were showing it on Monday night football during the telecast where they were saying, okay Costanza over here on the left tackle. He's been his left tackle the entire time But this GM inherited him right then he comes in he's had like six different guards eight different centers Seven different right guards like 12 different right tackles like what the fuck is your problem dude like and then they were like and then Look at the Jets. This is an experienced bunch. You've got man golden D brick center and left tackle two first round the anchors Two first round picks been there for like, like, 10-12 years. Yeah, and then you've got Super Bowl winners, right? everywhere else. Jake: It's like, that's true. It's like, oh, okay. And they're not even, I think our line is good. They, um, there's definitely weaknesses in there. Justin: I think, I think it's very good. But it's, I won't go so far to say it's excellent, but I will say it's a very good Jake: I think they're much, much best, better pass protection than they are run because Thanks for watching! We couldn't run against the Colts very well. Justin: No, the Colts had a mission to stop, I think their mission was to make us throw the ball. Which we did. Well, because- What was it when we had to, which was really impressive? Jake: No, listen, there's so many things to talk about that are just wonderful. I think the thing that- You know, obviously five turnovers, three of them by, you know, Revas was involved in one interception and two fumble recoveries. Justin: That guy's got three fumble recoveries already this year. Jake: Well, we've had 10 takeaways this year. We had 13 all of last year. So by hopefully the first quarter of this game coming up will be it. Do you think Rex cries himself to sleep with this personnel that.
21:01 Jake: that Todd Bowles has been given. Someone asked him that, and some announcer was talking and saying, you know what? He would never say anything. No, but he said, isn't it kind of weird that you're now at the Bills and the Jets have Rivas and Camardi and like. And oh, by the way, some other guys too. Yeah, that are just. Gil Crest. Justin: And prior in his second year and that whole linebacker that drafted Williams in the first round was like. Jake: This is like a Rex team. It was almost like a fucking Rex. It was like, we're going to put together the team you wanted. Yeah. And we're going to get a solid quarterback who, while he's never going to just, you know, super impress you, he's not going to do... He's not going to Gino you or Sanchez you. Justin: It's totally a Rex team, which is weird. But anyway. Jake: So... I mean, watching that game and watching it again, I mean, my takeaway is that was just a domination. 20 to seven. They never really felt worried. That last drive, when they drove down and scored, I was like, because we had to, well because if you look, we scored seven the first, you're like, okay, we scored three, we had a lot of chances to score, we didn't score, it's a lot of times. And Mr. Field will let the end. Yeah, no. Right, but sometimes really a lot of drives and they're like we weren't pulling points like I feel like Rogers gets that many drives That's a 35 to 7 game Justin: You know, I mean the problem was we couldn't we couldn't really get the running game going which I think the whole goal of this offense is to get like a good manageable third down right so that you can run or pass and we have offenses what there are some offenses who's who's just like go go go down the field down the field go and then there's offenses like that are made for third Jake: and twos like the pats are kind of made that way and then they'll hit you like with a bigger play down the middle or something. Well, that's the thing I'm I'm kind of just looking back at the games like they take shots. And I like that because I always, you know, it's always when you watch that team that doesn't take any shots down the field, you're like, well, they're not if they don't trust, they don't think you're going to take a shot, then there's going to creep up, creep up. But they just kept taking them. They didn't work. I mean, there was shots in that Browns game where it hits, you know, Decker on the hands, another one in a new so he doesn't get it like this one to Marshall. He doesn't get they're not. Working at the level that I expect them to work and I don't know if that's just gonna come along and timing or speed Or you know, it's not certainly not Fitzpatrick out throwing the coverage. Well, he is throwing it over people's hands Yeah, I don't know if they're like, hey, I don't think you can throw it that far So probably more than a run as fast Hey, but just a total total domination and all that game you must have just been going thank god rivas is back thank you Justin: oh i love him i love him i love him but going back to your point about the offensive line or my point or whatever um i don't think fits has been sacked i Jake: don't think he has either well he's been caught behind the line like on a scramble and like but for the most part he's had pretty said that well that was snapped over his over his head He's been pretty clean pocket pretty give him a good pocket and he and he has a key as a quick enough release We get rid of it. He knows where he's going and he makes a decision and he does it
24:03 Jake: So let's just do a little well, let's keep going down our Yeah game to the final 20 to 7 right the final was 20 to 7 yeah, I know that last dry we was 10 it was 10-0 and they were driving and they drove down and they scored. And that point I'm like, hey, fuck, this is Andrew Luck. This guy scores three touchdowns in a quarter. This is what he does. At that point I was like, fuck. Because it's like, okay, well now all they need to do is stop us once. And then there's a big drive that followed. Then they just drove right down, scored a touchdown. Right down the field. Yeah, you're done, you're kind of done. And they just couldn't, the cults couldn't move at all. So again, week one, I was like, I expected us to beat the Browns. Week two, I didn't expect us to beat the Colts. But then after seeing the performance in two games, I'm just wondering, do we look at the Colts in week 10 or 12? And we look back and we're like, shit, we actually meet up with a shitty team and they're shitty this year. They're just completely shitty or. Wow, we just caught them on a bad start to the season. Like, I don't know yet. It's hard to tell, but we'll see. So what's who's your player of the name or the night of the game for week two? Justin: We play the game. We play the game and the game. That's the way the game. Play the game. Then night of the game. Play the game. Then night of the game. OK. You can go off. The game is is that is that gore fumble on the goal line. Yep. And that's one and. When you see it from a wider angle, it's unclear that if he got the ball clean, which I actually think he the handoff was clean, he just then just started bobbling in his own tans. But if he didn't start bobbling it and he actually tried to score the touchdown, I think he probably scores but Reavis is sort of on his way to come tackle him. Reavis is a pretty good tackler. I'm not sure he might score, he might not. But the fact of the matter is he fumbled on the goal line. Well that was also- Again, for the second game in a row, and Reeva's right there to pick the ball up. Jake: Also the weirdest occurrence of events, it was like, it was a fumble, they call it at the one. They give us a 15 year, they give us a penalty which is halfway to the goal, but it was already on like the blade grass. Right, so we got it at the 10. Then they review it, they say he was inside the end zone, they give us the- Touchback and then take away ten so we actually got a bite that penalty or by reviewing it which they reviewed it We've got a great we got ten yards. Yep, which I was like I was happy with So that was your and who's your night of the game? Whoo Justin: Gotta pick a defensive player because Jake: Gotta pick the road. I think I'm wearing my Rebus jersey all year long. So it's a whiteout this Sunday so you know I should is it yeah I don't have I have a mangled well you have to wear mangled then it's a whiteout I'm a Pennington show where my Pennington throwback baby play the game I so racist to white out so I can't wear my black players Jersey black players matter
27:02 Jake: Play the game hash brown. I'm gonna go with the Marshall play again That just I just won though Well his touchdown the touchdown where he catches the ball and just I just over people with two people hanging on him again They're not the best World I was a single he saw it, you know, that was I know he told the whole story where he He's super come to me come to me and the guy and you know, he's making us and the guy asked him in the interview He's like Didn't you think the defense was listening to you as well? Because you're screaming come to me, he's like, whatever, I knew I was gonna get that ball and I was gonna run through them. And I was like. They showed the, I think it's Gruden who picked up on it. Justin: And he was like, when they replayed it, they were showing like Marshall sort of pointing out, like I got single coverage. Finally, right. And obviously people who are listening can't see me, but Fitzpatrick gave him a little hand signal like this. He kind of like shut up. Like I see it, you fucker. Shut the fuck up. I'm not a fucking retard, I see it. I'm a Harvard at grad. I went to Harvard. Jake: What's the over-under on how many times someone says he went to Harvard? Per game? Per season. It's like three and a half. Season is 35.2. I'll go over. I think it's over. It's over. It's like, well, he did go to Harvard. He went to Harvard. He knows the play book. He knows the play book. He went to Harvard. Harvard's is all modern. I mean, they have to say at least once because he says it in the beginning, in the like intro. I think he should just say something else. Yeah, anyway, he was a good interview when I mean elementary school he's interesting. So okay. Yeah, that was my play I just just watched it again. It's like I Just don't remember. I don't remember Kishan being Dominating big and over the middle what he wasn't was as fast. He wasn't as fast Don't remember him just being a game changer. I don't think you were that big of a Jets fan when I was in his prime though, I was a Jets fan since 95 96 came back in 96 from Africa. So you don't recall seeing Keith. I mean now it's his rookie year Justin: I think yeah, so you don't remember like in 98 when we made day FC championship game key Sean just being like Jake: Fucking beast. Yeah, I remember him being good and I may need to go back and do some rewinds and watch old games But I just don't remember him just being dominating. You know what else is I mean that is now Justin: Like I remember Curtis being dominated 1516 being like 15 16 years ago. Yes The rules were quite different, right? So Receivers do tend to look better now than they would totally agree in 16 totally Jake: So, but that season that he had with Finny was pretty magical. All right, so give me now give me one guy. We're gonna my time here. We got time. Give me one guy who impressed and one guy who depressed sort of in the first two games. Okay, I mean, we haven't mentioned and why someone we haven't mentioned.
30:01 Jake: Yeah. I'll give it one. Go ahead, you go. Let's just screen. He's been pretty good. Didn't know what to expect from this guy. I feel like he is all over the field. I feel happy that we have him. So he's my imprest. So I'll go the other way on the deep press. I'll pick the corner and the other one, Crow. He's got to be with Crow. It looks like. Justin: the crow from two years ago. What happened? He missed the good year. We missed the year Jake: that he was actually good. Give me Marcus Williams out there. I don't know why why they stick to him. He's the one getting burnt. He's the one got burnt on the jerk route against the cult. You're a jerk. He got the jerk route and he got jerked. I think he, like if he would just crow, he'd be burnt every play. you know, throw up the five of guys, and then it's Revas on one side. Yeah, you're right. Screen's been very good. He's Justin: Blitz he's very good at the blitz I, a bit he caused that interception because it was him 47 he and he's depressed. Oh 47. Tell him David. Fuck you. Fuck. He's the new. What was that guy's name. 82 from a couple of years ago. I can't remember his name. I'm blanking on Jesus. I don't like you. It's a blank on a name myself. Jake: It's like a flag. And you're like, oh, it's like a 47 again. Yeah. 47. Holding. Holding. 47. Get him out of there. Jesus Christ. Justin: Why is he in there? I mean, let the men would do that. Jake: Yeah, let somebody do that. Anybody but him. Justin: Let Bohannon do it. Jake: All right. Now let's talk about the head coaches. Well, let's talk about Bulls and we only have one head coach. We'll talk about head coaches. Let's talk about Bulls and Galey. I'm convinced that Galey is like a little bit more... Well, he's been a head coach many times. Umm... A little bit... I might be wrong. I'm fascinated by bowls because he's he is this I don't know I'm watching all of his press conferences. I'm watching all this stuff. I'm like really so cuz he's so He's an interesting dude He gets up there in front of the press and he puts on this face like someone just took their finger stuck it up Your bung hole and then put it right on his lips and he just sits out kind of like Like just no he does I've watched no, but then listen, but then all of a sudden they'll joke with him because he's a thing with Gladys ,,, oh
33:10 Jake: and I the I think some of the challenges and stuff, I feel like he I, he's done better. and I feel like some of those kind of like, Rex kind of always challenged, like he's lost both challenges, but they were reasonable , I looked at the time and a The The The The R---- Like... You're challenging that let's not compare well why cuz there's no point. It's well. There is a good point That's the whole point of being a fan is comparing your current coach your post pass coach Justin: It's interesting because he's taken over for a defensive coach. So in that respect, you know, it's like, all right, right. you blowhard if you will. Jake: Oh, why are you comparing? Well, you always go the opposite, right? Justin: You're like, you know, you go from Herm to man. Jeannie. Why are you comparing her? Shut up dick. So, but I think it's been very impressive because he's coming in as a defensive coach and taken over a team that was kind of already built on defense. Defense and made it. Like better. Jake: Well he is, I mean that's- This defense is- He's not calling the defense though. He is not. He said so. Justin: He definitely has some influence though because he's sitting there with a play sheet in front of his face during the games. He's definitely talking about it. Jake: Sure, he's telling him to call it in. Justin: Well, whatever it is, it's his defense because they're- Jake: I mean it's almost that I love it. I do. I do. I'm still I mean, you have your theory on what I feel like it does feel balanced.
36:05 Jake: What's my theory? I'm not looking at a game just going, why the fuck did you, I haven't had that moment. Why the fuck did you call that? I know that, I also know that Fitzpatrick has more say. He's a smart guy, he has calls, he can play. I feel like Gino didn't have what to say. I feel like he couldn't back out. Justin: You get to the line and you're like, yeah, this isn't gonna work, I'm gonna do something different. Jake: Time out, or he then tries to, and then you throw an interception or he gets sacked. I feel like Fitzpatrick, because they're working together. Is he like, you know, he has obviously said, I feel it's more of a grown up offense and Fitzpatrick can run a grown up offense, whereas Gino, I think it'd be much more limited and to be like, okay, you know, look at your chart. Justin: It's funny that you think it's more of a grown up offense because I think what they've tried, what they tried to run last year under morning league was far more complex and complicated and a lot of like crazy. motions and run fakes and weird plays where all of a sudden it's like a you know read read option with a bootleg throw somewhere and a lot of weird stuff a lot of complicated things and a lot of longer to develop. I think the plays that so far that I've seen out of this offense, it's quick. It's spread out and it's made to be, you know, you can make, you can look at the field before you snap the ball and be like, okay, I'm going to focus over here and that's where it's going to be. And if it's not... I'll come back right there and it'll be like it seems just more simple to me this offense then And not grown up Jake: It almost meaning I I feel like it's grown up in that it's giving the quarterback more say in what he can do And i'm getting i'm hearing I never heard geno say Oh, I was in this set and I saw this on the field and I kill kill killed out of it And i'm scored a touchdown like I don't feel like that's cute. You know, it's like, oh, I'm about to sack and I ran 10 yards. Justin: What he does, what he does have, and this isn't necessarily a gaily thing. It's maybe it is though, is Fitz didn't. He barely even played like in the, in the OTA stuff, the off season stuff, cause he was so recovering from his broken leg. Right. And then he at the beginning of camp, fiasco, he wasn't the first string. Quarter, he wasn't getting those reps. It's kind of amazing. It's the like we had two. Number one's out on the field, where it's like, okay, so you want to cover that guy? Fine, I'm going to him. Cover him, fine, I'm going to him. This looks good. Jake: - That guy had almost 100 yards, in the first half. Working out of the slot, which is awesome.
39:01 Jake: Yeah, it was working. I mean, he's now injured, and mostly he's questionable for the Sunday game. But, all right, so big question. Yeah. Just just try to think if. If Gina was the starter, would we be 2-0? Hard to say. No,. Justin: You I think we win the opener and the opener and the opener and the opener and the quarterbacking agreed. I don't know if he's composed enough to make that drive that touchdown drive. Where we're up 10-7 and we Jake: back and go up 17-7 at Monday night game. Making things I just my thing with him now is like I just he seems like it's like I'm gonna throw to Marshall No Justin: Games, well, you know what Marshall should get somewhere between 10 and and 15, 15 targets a game anyway Jake: Like he's that kind of player fine, but there's you you sometimes you don't force it and there's times where it's it's It's hard to be intercepted. So it's like, like. There's also a locked interception sometimes. Like the one that Revas picked or the first one that Calvin prior picked, an. an all. It wasn't there, but that's not. Justin: that r- is true. Yes, it's. Well, why was it an overthrow? So he's being pressured. But that's right. So it wasn't it wasn't just like, Oh, he threw a pig. He I mean, he he. was forced into that pick. Jake: That wasn't like, oh, you know, he threw a bad ball. He was hit. He was. No, he was hit during that play. Both interceptions. He was absolutely being hit by a blitz. He was surrounded, but he was not being hit. On both of them, he was being hit. I don't think he was hit. I mean, he wasn't. He was like, oh, the ball old, because not only was on the first one was he was he hit, Justin: but it was his own blitz where dozewald dropped. Way back into coverage off the line so where luck is looking he actually had to throw it behind the receiver He wanted to throw it too because doosable was in the way And it's like what the fuck that guy doing there And that's why it went off his one arm and it popped up in the air and prior was able to so it's Those were like defense made you make a bad throw in both cases You're talking about like fits with clean pocket. Just throwing the ball into triple coverage Jake: You should go rewatch. He does that more than you think he does. I've I've watched I noticed and Justin: Gina did the same thing many a times right and I think we have two things Jake: This is what i'm saying. I think the difference is there. I don't think it's as big as Justin: Don't think it's a huge difference. I wish I could melt them and just take like I want it's his brain and pop it into
42:01 Justin: Geno's head and I'd have a good quarterback Geno's arm and his legs everything about Geno is physically way more talented, but he just doesn't have the The experience and the knowledge Let's get to the yeah, let's get to I pick up doing really bad I think doing really bad. He thought I was doing doing good I thought I was doing pretty terrible. I did okay week one, but I'm pretty far down, dude. I'm like fourth from the bottom, I think. Oh, yeah, you really are. Oh, I only had a five burger six last week six. I must have won them. Yeah. So right now, so the week one, Jake: like the winner was. the New Yorkshire Jets. I'm sure that's someone I know who had 11, so I was sort of set far. Well there was a tie with Rocksteady Pumps. Yeah, but he wins the tie. I'm looking at it because he's got the green on it. Oh, the time breaker, got it. And then week two, and I had 10 that week, so I thought that was a good week. A lot of people, that was a lot of 10s, long lines. I had a nine, not bad, that's then next week. a tough week. Jawbreakers though had a 12 burger. So right now, Hold Justin: Till clever name decided who had a 10. Oh look at you. We both had six right there with you all right Jake: That's all I really care about in your and your 20. Yeah, we're one game separate I'm just saying that's all I care and right now no cuz I got I got last night. I did not. So I already lost last night. I picked against the Chinese. I'm three out from the wing. I'm over 500. That's all I'm committed for. Justin: You want to get to this thing? You want to tell people what we're doing? Jake: Yeah. So we're. We're going to pick every game except for the AFC East. We're going to pick them with the spread. Justin's going to try to avoid the AFC East. We can't pick last night because we already picked it, but I got it right and you got it wrong. So go for it. Alright, so let's... Oh, and you can follow along at the Yahoo Pick'em Group 3653 podcast is the Too Late Fucker's Justin: S Country. Here we go. Cleveland quarterback by Mcown. Is... Jake: Did they have a'e?. Justin: Clearly they don't quarterback class from last year. Right. So they're in their second years now. And there's David Carr.
45:00 Justin: OK, pretty well. Well, Blake Bortles got picked very early in the first round. And, you know, he had a really nice game and it was like, oh, wow, he had a nice game. Right car car had a really nice game, right? Like oh, wow. Okay and manzell and those actually So there are three first round picks. It was Three and a half Cleveland home half. I don't like the half I don't like Oakland early, but I also don't like the half. So I'm gonna pick Oakland. I Jake: Like the half I'll take the Cleveland Leave I'll take the cleave. I'll take the cleave that I think the cleave that you see how I'm gonna speak Yeah, I don't really believe in the defense Justin: Yeah, all right Atlanta a hot Lana going to Dallas with just nobody. Jake: Dallas is gonna be without the weedster and they made a trade for Matt Castle. Justin: The bills don't have three corner acts anymore. They were two. So Atlanta's actually favored on the road in Dallas where Dallas doesn't play I like Atlanta. I just think they're good R I like Atlanta. I think they have a good offense. I have a good new defense with the with the coordinator guy from Seattle. So I like it when? Yeah, I like it. I like Atlanta. I way way I have a good offensive line, so I guess you can run, but if you really don't have to respect that quarterback, which we've seen, it's very hard to score. We've seen this firsthand when you don't have to respect the quarterback. Because they don't have a running game. There's no quarterback. There's no receivers that you have to give a crap about. Jake: Williams doesn't scare me. Witten's all banged up. Justin: It's like we've seen that offense. It's not good. All right. Jake: Great. Atlanta. Goes to Tennessee Oh into indie own to indie goes to the one-one Tennessee with the M&M favored by three and a half Seem right to me. I'm gonna pick home team Justin: Marriota Three because Jake: favored because are they gonna really go 0-3 I think is that's really people thinking like it just can't go on three well yes people go on three all the time Justin: I Jake: Give me Tennessee give a Marcus, Marietta
48:10 Justin: Tennessee just demolished Tampa. How do you think they feel like that? Not so good. They won last week. They're going to head heads. Dude light it. Light you up. And the other guy was doing terrible. His first throw in that NFL was a 6. Jake: He's a subject. Justin: I mean, he didn't throw a lot. Jake: Marios, I think, had like. Justin: Threw four touchdowns though. Jake: Yeah, but in the first half. Because they were winning by like 40, so they stopped throwing. Oh, yeah. All right, anyway. Pittsburgh goes to St. Louis. Pittsburgh favored by one on the road. Justin: St. Louis, a weird team. I can't pick them. I don't know who the hell they are. Who are they? I don't know. One week they're. Dropping 34 on Seattle the next week. They're losing to Washington. It doesn't make any sense I don't know who they are. So Pittsburgh gets Le'Veon Bell back Jake: There and your man crushed Le'Veon Bell. It's only second to your man crushed for I do love her Le'Veon Bell I think he's the best Wilson. So give me Pittsburgh give him one. Yeah, give me the team I know is a good team. I got a team that I don't even know is a good team. Justin: All right, Minnesota is hosting San Diego. Minnesota favored by two and a half. I think San Diego is a better team. I will take San Diego and those two and a half points. Jake: Give it to me. Say thank you. Give it to me, give it to me, give it to me, San Diego. Justin: We're picking a lot out of the same stuff here. Yeah, that's true. Jake: We'll separate out. Justin: All right, Carolina is... Good job. Thank you. Carolina is hosting New Orleans. With Drew Brees, I think yeah, yes, he's playing wait. No not playing Drew Brees not playing not playing as of yesterday. I thought he was playing I think I just got mine Jake: Haven't really moved so I got it. Just hold on. I'll check it I just got the team stream alert which I get a lot of this this line hasn't moved Carolina is Justin: Home and favored by three, which is kind of just like the generic three-point I just I was taking them anyway thinking you know play Well now definitely give me give me Carolina all day all day long all day Alrighty, cuz Cam Newton's the real deals. Um, alright Lot of early games. Holy shit. Baltimore is hosting Cincinnati in a good division A lot of division games too and a division rivalry Baltimore is favored by two and a half Jake: Yeah, I agree and at home, this is not the opener is it?
51:00 Jake: Were they on the road the first two weeks? They were. They were on the west coast. This is, oh that's right and they stayed out there. They stayed out there. I I don't like only three, four o'clock games. What is that NFL's problem? Although weird to throw that Miami Buffalo game at four, which we will have to talk about. Justin: I think it is national so it's a good one so So we have Houston, hosting Tampa Bay. Now who's the quarterback for Houston this week? I'd be Mallet. Okay. Until otherwise notified. Hopkins had a concussion. I don't know if he's gonna play or not. Yeah So, I don't know I mean Houston giving six and a half is a lot of points for a bad team to. To be giving there's no area in foster They're not that good. I Feel like this could, and nine six type again, I feel like this is going to be pretty brutal. Well, he's, he's offense just isn't. It's sucks, but Houston's offense offense has a good defense, but they're kind of getting fucked by their offense. I'm going to take the six and a half. I'm going to take Tampa. I too will take Tampa. Alright, let's go late. West Coast. Arizona is hosting San Francisco. We have seen San Francisco at home. Live in person. Live in person at the Santa Clara 49ers. Oh god, don't Jake: even get us started. That stadium is an hour and a half from San Francisco. Two hours and Justin: 20 minutes is home to us. Anyone who makes fun of the Jets or the Giants playing in Jersey. You're bullshit right because it's now like the Jets or the Giants play in like Bumblefuck Jersey right they play like like literally like 4 miles from New and New York City right this is in the middle of Fucking the valley like they Jake: They're like alright, there's tech companies-companies left San Francisco at 3 p.m. Cisco proper proper in the city 3 p.m. and Justin: I think that's just too many points. So I'm going to take the Niners. Jake: Oh God, we're agreeing on way too many. Way too many. This is going to be a bad week for you.
54:00 Jake: My friend takes it for you as well. Yeah, a bad week for you. All right. Justin: The O and 2 Seattle Seahawks. Jake: The O and 2 Seattle Seahawks is opening at home. But with game channels, we're back. So we got that in the 12th man.-- because I don't think they tackles the home game yet. Oh no, you're right. They all started home. No, they played the Rams. They did in St. Louis. St. Louis and then Green Bay. At Green Bay. So this is their home opener. Oh Jesus. Justin: And they've got Jimmy Clossen. Playing quarterback for the Chicago Bears. The line is 14 and a half. It's just too much. And I don't give a fuck. Jake: Give me Seattle. Garbage time points. I can't see them scoring a point. Chicago Matt Forte runs it for but you don't even have to respect the quarterback at all Justin: No, I think Jeffrey's hurt, banged up. You don't have to respect their throw- their passing game in the slightest. Jake: I'm just gonna keep it there because I don't want to agree with you on every game, so I'm gonna keep it Chicago. Fine. Sunday night. That's my only reason. Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, big! and When was I just can't tell what this team is. Justin: You can't tell me that you still wouldn't want him to be your quarterback. Jake: No, I... Hey, you can have Peyton or Fitz for this year. Who you want. Behind our line? Give. Give me Peyton. , Well, yeah, I mean... Behind anyone's line, he's dead in one series. Behind his own line, he might be dead in one series. He's getting hit a lot. I just, but Denver D is reals. That's two weeks for two picks. Oh, they are real deals. And they got good corners, they got good pass rus Excellent corners and great edge rushers. That's a real deal. So and you a Don't know I know they lost one but anyway by six and a half and I think that Justin: .
57:14 Jake: Alright, I'm gonna switch this one, because I can Darn. Which- which one do you want first? Justin: Buffalo Miami. Jake: Let's see, Miami is favored by 2.5. Justin: The Jag. The Jags at New Orleans. 13.5. Jake: Yeah, I don't have to say it. E- And then we're 2.5. Justin: The Jets are favored by 2.5. Jake: There we go. There you go. Awesome. So let's start with Re the Started off by destroying the colds of my god the bill deal They did score a lot of points last day But but the thing is that the Patriots just kept throwing the ball they kept like trying to f Justin: They don't have the ability to stop fucking with Jake: I just don't know these two teams. I can't tell if Tyrotero is real. I think he's not a rookie. I like Miami at home. and I'm sorry, but Miami home, 4 o'clock. I think Ten Hill's a above average quarterback. He's a B plus quarterback. He makes mistakes, but I just don't think they're s to move it. So I think this is going to kind of a closer game, you know, like, you know, it's not going to be high scoring at relent 45, 45,B-45. a. I'm picking Miami to win, but you know, by a little. I have four points here. So 2117 Miami. All right. I've got it. 7 the other way. Justin: Buffalo. I like Buffalo to go into Miami and I just haven't been so impressed with.
1:00:07 Jake: Miami like I thought they were gonna be Yes, that guy can play. Justin: That guy can play some ball. All right, next up. Okay, next up. The Jags. Jaguars are in New England. Jake: The London Jaguars. They're in New England. They are. And New England's favored by 13 and a half. I the and I've got Justin: New England destroying Jacksonville, because Jacksonville is just won a game. So they're all like, we won a, game. Right. And Belichick's like, yeah, but. Jake: You've got that rookie quarterback or that second year quarterback that I am going to dominate and I'm going So keeping it within that spread point. Question two. But I think it'll be ineffective. I mean, he's not gonna run us anyway. He has not had... he's what? Nine yards and two games? question two. Yeah? Do we get to see Mark Sanchez play in this game? I would be so happy. I think you might. I think you might and here's why I think Brad through come out I think it'll be pressured I think you have like A 4th fumble, he'll throw one or the picks by half time and I think they'll be like, We've seen enough of you. You are terrible. Chip He's the one who makes the decision Justin: So he can't be like Jake: I'm an idiot No, no, no he's an idiot But he nitty for trading for him I'm saying Like that, that, thinking that this was his So I think you could see a second half Second half suckjazz Nothing would make me happy My god if he buff fumbles three times Nothing- Cuz you might butter your pants Oh there'd be duck Justin: the They're also without some of their better defensive players. Yes, he go along. So it was out out that he has been ruled out. But also believe Michael Kendrick's is out. Okay. And they signed away. You know, they signed a big money deal. , um, the corner from Maxwell from Seattle, right? Huge money. And it's like turns out.
1:03:01 Justin: I in the Legion of Boom and you have like Richard Sherman on the other side and Cam Chancellor and Earl Thomas kind of patrolling his safeties, you are just better. You're just better when you have to go be Richard Sherman. Jake: Awesome law. Remember Awesome Law in those days? Justin: Well he was really good in Oakland. Jake: But then he went to Eagles and he was, he was terrible. He was awful with those. So their ability to grab the good corners. Justin: So he sucks, he sucks. They're deep runs and I thought their defense was gonna be halfway decent this year a- and that offense which supposed to be like. Be like a high powered and whatever like they they don't seem to have a deep threat. Everything is just this like this this run This pulling weird running action where you know Bradford's not running the ball, right? So you just. Just know so you just Crush Murray behind the line of scrimmage and they do it all from Jake: eight yard. Eight yard throws over the middle. Right. But when you're starting at negative four. Yeah. It, it's a little it's tough and they've got these. Justin: These screens built in and we have really good tacklers out there. Right. Like Harris is a very sure tackler. as a corner is a very sure tackler Gil Crest and Screen prior and screens a good time. a, I if anything they will be back 7. So, keep those guys in front of you, they will give you the ball back. The whole point here against the Eagles is to keep their defense on the field as long as possible. and And then it'll just Gassed because they're often doesn't even want to be on the field. They want to score as fast as fucking. Possible. They're not going to score. Right. That's it. They just want to be like go and go mode. So they're keeping their they're trying to keep your defense tired by running plays every 28, 30 seconds. Whatever. Such a bullshit thing. I think we'll be fine with it. I think we'll, you know, we'll stop the run effectively. Which will make them have to throw it down the field a little more we have the guys to cover Their guys, and I'm not really worried about their their shenanigans, so I have this Jake: 2713 we didn't go over any of the the injuries and you didn't cuz the castle but I like that Well, it was a huge. Yeah, I guess they are we have three players who are questionable for the game now. I think Justin: To me in this question, guys, I think two of these guys are playing and one is who isn't playing decker. I don't think Decker is going to play.
1:06:10 Jake: game time decision they're still saying no for Decker for hours ago through Rivas Chris Ivory practice status they all practice they're all practice that I think they're gonna play maybe not good news for Jess fans Rivas wide receiver Breguire every spot on the field of practice Friday with their helmets of Practice actually began with this, but Where did that happen? Where the fucking pattern? That's why I'm not worried about it. He'll be fine. All right Justin: We also I mean crow with that need Scary, but there he is back on the field he like never misses a game Oh, whoo, who is out he's getting his knee scoped for a couple of weeks myth back we do I well in Ready right, but they haven't dressed him right have an act We're gonna see a little Devin Smith in that a wu-su role right and if Decker doesn't play well Curly will play that role right? But I think what we will hope for these all these Shots that he's taken to a wu-su and he hit him in the first game right one of it, but but he not open in against the Colts Have a feeling Devin Smith's a little faster. Oh, yeah So I'm looking forward to seeing him just run straight down the field, right? I don't think he needs to do anything else no, or You know, I don't know however With a wusu out who is returning kicks, right? I also don't know if that matters. Is it Devin? I don't know if he's a kick returner. I don't know if it really actually matters kick returner You could just, down the ball every time. Like every kick goes into the composure. Right. So you don't really need a kick returner. I don't think. Part returner a little, more important. But our guy just fair catches the ball. Yeah, every single time. So whatever. Um, yeah. Those are all the injuries. Walls too. Uh, so Dexter, McDougall was actually active. He didn't see the field, I don't think. Maybe a little special teams, but not on defense. Jake: So my key to the castle, I mean, this this I'm very concerned about the trap game because I feel like this is, you know, the two and oh against the oh and two. This is kind of the Eagle season, just like last night was the was the giant season. That was their season. Justin: If they didn't win that game, they were definitely there. Jake: So I feel like this is going to be I think we're going to beat them. And this is not even like a, you know, my normal homorism that, but I really truly think we're going to beat them. The thing that I'm, I'm weird score. Yeah. A lot of there's a safety in there. Oh, there's a safety in there. Well, that's still a weird score. 23, 23 add to 25. 23 is a weird safety in there.
1:09:00 Jake: There's a safety in there. Yeah. So I mean, this is the thing. their line. is not even, I mean, the lines we've played are better and we've been able to get to the quarterback. I feel like we are gonna be able to really get to this quarterback. Justin: Remember how we were talking about the Browns and it was like, well, they have a good line. They have a great left tackle, a great center and some really nice complimentary pieces. And it was like, oh, we're not really like totally getting all the way to the, I mean, we were, but he was kind of slippery and he staped. Jake: Run away. Justin: The colds, however, it was pretty clear, Jake: we're gonna be able to get to some quarterbacks. Yeah, and again, we weren't like totally sacking him, but we were just getting so far around him that he had to make... Actually, the shit out of him. Yeah, actually. And I feel like he can actually make throws in that scenario, and he's used to that. This guy, I feel like he gets knocked down once or twice, and he's just gonna make a turnover with the machine. That's why I do think you... I think you have a good chance of seeing Suck Jazz. I don't wanna see Suck Jazz. I do. Because I could see... if Okay, so you really such as come in and beat us then not have such no, I just want to see him play Okay, I don't think I don't think he could beat us. It'd be fun to watch such has come in Something oh my god, I prospective I really want to see a the key of the castle for me is our running should I bring my Jets wrestler mask maybe That's me anything running game. I was very disappointed in our run I mean a running game against the Browns was Good, good in touchdowns, but wasn't a lot of running. It wasn't like a 200 yard game. I want to see us just- That's not even true. No, it to. Like look at the score. Yeah. I'm going. Go. I think we ran for at least 150 yards. Are we talking about against the Browns? 153. Against the Browns. Yeah, but I had 91. But I had 62. But wait, that's it. 153 yards is a very- Good a good amount of running yards? Yeah, I want to see ivory have 100 at least What do you have in that game? Okay Justin: What are you looking for? I want a 200 burger What's a 100? If you take 91 and multiply it by 16 that's 1450 yards That's a fucking monster season I want more What? You're being absurd Jake: I'm concerned with it Semi-hurt Semi hurt Chris Irae and really not much of a backfield other than Irae I don't think ball Powell can sort of pound the ball. He's not that guy So I'm so my thing key the castles we have to establish and get a running game going To make to slow down the game because they want to speed it up We want to slow it down because we're gonna get them off the field very quickly I don't think they're gonna be able to move so we need to then have nice long drives Score a touchdown or field goal get them back on he's gonna throw a pick They'll have a nice long time down the field. So mine is run run the ball. I'm predicting Jets win 25 and And it could be one of those like fourth quarter four minutes ago touchdowns Who?
