09 Jake: The best place to be is when expectations are high. Get used to it. It's always going to be that way. Can't wait! Justin: Welcome to the J- checking the podcast. The longest running New York just podcasts on the entire interweb. As always, Jake here joined by Justin, voice not so good, podcast not so good last week. Didn't happen. Podcast this week, awesome sauce. Why? Why? We have a win. We're gonna talk about the win this week. We're gonna talk about. Anything else we forgot to talk about last week? We're gonna do a quick one, because we're gonna be back on Thursday for our big podcast, big roll in podcast, where we'll do all the picks, all the stuff. We'll review everything we did or didn't do last week. We can talk about this week's picks, how we did, can't we? Nope, can't do that. Let's talk about it. I did really well. Let's talk about it. What do you have about that Thursday? It's called Come Back on Thursday. So first of all, apologies, apologies, apologizing. I wasn't. Yes. That's not true, don't lie to the people. It's because you have nothing to do. Right. I was in a different state. We couldn't Skype it up, so we had to go undid. Plus, it was off a horrible loss. I don't know. I was looking forward to complaining a little bit on the podcast, venting a little bit, getting it out. getting it all out but you know what Fuck it. Victory last night, we were both there. Yeah, so let's talk about the game. Let's talk about the real game, the game that matters, not the one that we fucking lost, that we couldn't stop them in the last seven minutes of the game. Let's talk about the game that we just kinda really dominated and where a Suck Jazz came out and did pretty well. Yeah, he did. So first of all, love a Monday Night Game. I like, actually, I know people, some fans don't like Monday Night Games. We'll see you next time. I love Monday games, you know why? I get all Sunday to watch every frickin' game in the command center with tons and tons of screens. I get to watch the whole thing, and then Monday, go to work, do some work, and then take off early, and then go have a great night. Yeah, I'm a little hoarse. Yeah, I didn't get a lot of sleep, but I really like it, I'm sorry. I like them better than a Sunday night, because Sunday night you still have to bail early on the games, but Monday night you get the whole Sunday and then you get to go to Monday night. So, we only have... you I don't think that's it. I think that's it. We have a Sunday night and a Thursday night. And then no more. That's it. That's it. For the night games. Well, we've had a few so far. We've had three already. And I imagine we'll be flaxed. So who would you pick to win this game? The Jets. What would you pick the score to be? Oh, I actually did this because I was in Atlantic City and they had a... Pick the pros thing at right see no nice, so I picked 24
22 Justin: What's wrong? You okay there? Yeah, I'm okay. I'm getting buzzed. Stop getting buzzed. Alright, so let's talk about the game. What's your thoughts? I thought they came out lethargic and looked really bad in the first quarter. I think that's fairly obvious. Four offensive possessions, four three and outs. I don't know if that was all in the first quarter, but before they did anything, they went three and out for a straight time. Before they did anything, I think they had like 10 yards on four possessions. That's got to change. That's ridiculous. Interesting choice. Why, before the game started, we were sitting there, watching. We got in a little early. Really easy to get in. If you go in just like 10 minutes early. If you go in 40 minutes before the game starts, which is a little too early, you get right in. Yeah, it was very, very easy. But we went in a little early and we're sitting there and we said, okay, if we win the toss, what do we do? And you're like, oh, definitely kick it away. Definitely kick it away. Let Matt H Moore and the mighty, mighty dolphins go for it. And yet we won the toss and we said, we'll take it. I think they want to get the b offense going, but I think that's a mistake because the way you get the crowd going is to get the defense on the field against Matt Moore and have him be on the field first because nothing bad could happen before then. Right. But if you do a three and out and then punt the ball away You've lost a little momentum there. I know you're not supposed to think about the negative like, you're supposed to think we're gonna get the ball and we're gonna go down the field, we're gonna score a touchdown, then everything's gonna be going our way, and then we're gonna kick Matt Moore, they'll already be losing. But really, you should kick Matt Moore, the ball, because he's Matt Moore, and they're the Dolphins, and they really can't do much. Yeah, I mean, the side of it... Oh, I mean, they didn't have a terrible game. They didn't score, but... I didn't think that they played... That that like they actually played better than I thought even though the Jets trained them in every in every way It's one of those weird things you look at that this there's the stats in the score if I just gave you the score I said 24 6 you say yeah They dominated one team dominate the other one and they won and I'd even told you only one of those teams one of those scores came off of defense or special teams meaning that it wasn't that they ran back. It sounded like they've, Devin Hester run back four for touchdowns, like, but their offense moved. We actually got movement. Well, the Jets defense did, I mean, they had two interceptions, they forced five fumbles, they had four sacks. Huge. That's statistically impressive, even though it didn't even look that way. No, it did. It was weird. Because anytime the Dolphins wanted to,
01 Justin: and I think this was a big mistake on the Dolphins' behalf. Anytime they wanted, they could run up the middle for five yards. They were doing it all game. At least it seemed that way. It seemed that way. I don't think they were getting as far as... If they really were doing that, they should have stuck to it. Then they shouldn't have started throwing the ball. Because why would you give it to Matt Moore to throw if that was happening? He threw the ball 34 times, Matt Moore. Which is a lot. It is. But only 204 yards. That's not a lot of yards. No, it's 6 yards per tenth. Not great. No. 4 times, picked off twice. I just want a little something about the starts. I saw something I liked in that they went into the 2 minute mode. They went into hurry up offense at one point. Which is good because we've always been saying, and I think everyone else is saying, Hey, listen. Get Marc Sanchez going. What I'm not getting is what is happening, and again, I don't know how to solve it I'm just gonna throw it out there What's happening before the game or during the game or the rituals or whatever through the week that Marc Sanchez? This is this is plaguing him for multiple seasons now There's something about him in the start of the game the first quarter that and even like we were talking about You know in he didn't really turn on until he made his first first down and then he's on but like In order to go from being an average quarterback to a good quarterback to a great quarterback to a Super Bowl winning awesome quarterback You can't always start in the dumps No You have to be able to come out the gate and firing and you know you were making the comments and watching this You know some of its game planning some of its you know this maybe the script that they have at the beginning of the game some of it's just What's happening? Maybe a drop ball or something, but? It looks to me, and again, you made the comments, I'm going to give you this credit. It looks to me that the Jets offense is almost scared of itself. It's like they're not confident enough to just say, our job is to come on the field and score. And we're just going to go score, and if it means whipping the ball, we're going to whip it. If it means running the ball, we're going to run it. If it means short passes, we're going to... But it's like... They just seem to go all over the place and you made the comment, you know, Aaron Rodgers doesn't walk on the field and say, hey, I can't wait to get a six yard play and then a four yard play and then maybe get a first down, then run it for a yard, then get another seven yard, then run it for two and then get a first down. Like he goes, hey, listen, if someone's open, I'm throwing it to you and you got 35 yards and we're going to go fucking score. And it doesn't feel like our offense has that mentality. It's almost like they don't have a like, just like... It's a confidence. They don't have confidence. It's a weird thing, right? My comment was, it's stupid that they go out on first down and they feel like their job on first down is to get 4 yards. Well that second down could be second and sixth. And then their job is to get 5 to 8 yards. That's like not... to me, first down, why not try and get 15? Like, hey, you don't have to get a first down on third down. You can get a first down on first down. And here's maybe where the problem is.
00 Justin: Play the defense. And we walked just against the patch, right? They came out against the patch, one of the worst... passing defenses out there and they were so determined to want to run the fucking ball that's all they wanted to do. It's like, we're gonna prove you we can run the ball. Even though their corners are literally crippled and like in wheelchairs with like, Santoni Holmes doing circles around them. It's like, no, no, no, don't throw it to him because we gotta prove that we can run the ball. You know what? If what you need to do, and I think this is what great offenses do... And I hate to say that to the Patriots, but look at the end of that game. They have a horrible run game, and what they said is, you're not going to stop us? We're just going to spend eight minutes in this drive just running the ball. And we don't have to throw. We got one of the best throwers in the league. We got a guy who can score at will in Tom Brady. He's got suitable weapons, not incredible weapons, suitable weapons. I disagree with that. He doesn't have the top wide receivers in the league. Oh, I beg to differ. If he had Calvin Johnson and Andre Johnson and... Well, there's one of those, but there's also a Wes Walker who is phenomenal. He is. The best at his position. That he has two tight ends that are in the top 10. He has weapons. Yes, but they're weapons that he created. I think you take those guys, you put them on another team. You take Finley and put them on... You take Finley and put them on... Finley's good. You take Greg Olsen and put them on the fucking... Greg Olsen's good too. Well, I'm talking good... Dustin Keller doesn't matter take someone who's a little ranked top 20. You guys are phenomenal. Yeah, but he makes them phenomenal well It's not like he doesn't it's you're saying he doesn't have weapons. He has plenty of what I'm saying He doesn't have top talent weapons as much as he makes You one guy Oh to sink oh No. Name his receiver. Stop playing the tight ender. That's one receiver. Right. How many teams have more than one job? Wes Walker, Brandon Marshall. Wes Walker, Calvin Johnson. Wes Walker, Andre Johnson. Wes Walker, Roddy White. Wes Walker, all those other guys are better. No. And if Wes Walker... Not his position, not a chance. I think it's the exact... Wes Walker plays a position. He plays the slot, he's the receiver in the slot, and he's the best at it in the entire game. And then the best slobber in the entire weapon. I, I, I, when he was on the dolphins, when he was on the dolphins, he wasn't the best at anything. He was there for two, three years. He was a rookie. For three years? He was a rookie and I believed he played there for two years. As a definite, as a definite. And before that he was with San Diego. The pads traded a second round pick for him, so they clearly saw something. Yeah, they traded a fourth round pick for Randy Moss. They turned Randy Moss into someone who's... So they traded a second round pick for one guy and a fourth round pick for the other. Which one's better? Yeah. I'm not saying Wes Welker is like the best receiver ever in the entire league, but at his position... How does he trade for Ochosinka? Nothing, because he sucks, but at his position... No, how does he trade for him? I think he did. I think he was a fourth round pick for him. Oh, okay, fourth round pick. But at his position... Wes Welker is the best in the league. Nobody is a better slot receiver than Wes Welker. I agree. It's one weapon. But if you look at the weapons that they can run the ball...
03 Justin: Wait until I finish the sentence. If you look at the weapons that Tom Brady has, there's been years where he's had better weapons in the receiving corps than he currently does. I actually don't think that's a correct statement. I believe that to be factually incorrect. What I'm trying to say without you interrupting to the 17th time is that... He makes his players better because he is good. It's like looking at the Colts, right? The guys on the Colts without, with Peyton Manning, are fantasy studs, right? They're guys you wanna put on, you're gonna start every week because he's gonna make them good, because he's good. But without him, they just start to disappear. Same thing with the guys on the Patriots. You take away Tom Brady, one of the greatest quarterbacks ever to play the game, and those guys are not as top tier as they look now. Other guys, like Calvin Johnson, who I think is, you know, who's just blowing it up, he's saving that other quarterback's ass. He's saving Stafford's ass. Stafford is just throwing the fucking anywhere near the guy. That's a difference. Tom Brady, precision, making plays, making other guys look good. Calvin Johnson making his quarterback look good because he's just going to get it anywhere it is. I think there's a difference. Anyway, let's get back to the game. The point is, I think we have some of those players on our team. I feel like we're afraid to use them the same way. And maybe it just stems from Sanchez not being as comfortable in his own skins to be able to do it. By the way, just West Lunker, 111 catches with Matt Castle. Just saying. Um, just throwing that out there. Yeah? Just felt like it. 111, 111 catches! I mean, come on! And look at the other people on that team at that point. Was he the only option? No, there was him and Randy Moss. And how much did Randy Moss have? I have no idea. I don't know how to do that. Did Randy Moss set the all-time record for touchdowns? Nah, it was Matt Castle. That's amazing. Not with Mac Haslam. No, he didn't. But with Tom Brady. Take Duane Bowe, put him on the Patriots, and he's freaking breaking records. Okay. All right. I still say he has plenty of weapons. I think he has weapons, but I think he makes his weapons better. As opposed to making him... But to say he doesn't have weapons is absolutely... There are other teams with... There are other quarterbacks in the league with better weapons, but they can't manipulate them as well as he can. Okay. It's not the... I'm not saying they're the best weapons in the world, but you know what? I'll take all the weapons that the Patriots have, and I'll take them on the Jets. Oh, I think that's a failure, because we wouldn't be able to manipulate. We wouldn't be able to use them as well. But they're more talented individually than what we have on the Jets. That's where I disagree. Really? You don't think Aaron Hernandez is better than Dustin Keller? No. Because I do. No. Thanks for watching! I think he's better because Tom Brady's throwing the ball to him. No, I feel like he's just better. No, don't think so. I feel like he's just better. Don't think so. That's their whole mentality is they can take a guy, put him in the right position, and they make him better. He's not better, they make him better. Okay. He's better because Tom Brady throws the ball to him. Well, we can agree to disagree.
00 Justin: Yeah, sure. I think there are players that... Is this the fucking Patriot show? Let's get off of this. Alright, let's get more pissed. I hate them. Alright, so what happened yesterday? Well, we won yesterday. Alright, then fine. 24 seconds we won the fucking game. We're giving you your makeup. This is your makeup. This is what you would have heard from us last week. Aren't you glad that we didn't do this last week? Aren't you glad we waited a week? Because it was so much worse last week. Alright, so last night a couple things right out. Just getting back to where we were. I made a couple comments while we were sitting there. One was about the whole we look reluctant on first down we're trying to get five when we should be trying to just play and get 10 or 12 or a touchdown, who cares. We are pretty stubborn with that run game. SeanGreen21 rushes. For 74 yards a 3.5 average not very good. Lydanian Tomlinson 7 rushes 25, 3.6 average again not very good. It's just being stubborn. Some of those runs are at the end of the game. Mark Sanchez 1 rush 5 yards touchdown awesome 5 yard average. You know we and we seemed a little schizophrenic like. particularly in that little stretch where we weren't getting a first down in the first four possessions. We came out one one series and like ran the ball first down ran it on second down threw another down. We come out another series we're in the shotgun for all three plays and we're in a no huddle. We come out another series we're doing a trick. play to the alt he's gonna throw the ball like a little schizophrenic like run your offense right run your off right and pick one and run it that's the question what is the offense what what is chotting him's office pick pick the offense thing around last year it worked run it i hate to say it i said it on this podcast before we're missing brad smith oh i think when he left you were like eh not a big deal i was but you know what i see it now we're missing him on offense okay We're missing not his receiving. We're missing those three to five wildcard wildcat plays. Just to change it up. Yeah, just change it up. You don't know what he's gonna do. Right. He's gonna run trust me. You don't know where he's gonna run, but he's gonna run Well he gained like he would gain like he'd average like seven eight nine yards a run cuz he's elusive and and it was a tricky little, you didn't know what, you had Sean Green and LT back there, are they gonna get the ball? They gotta pick someone, just pick someone and turn him into, I know that Bradsmith has great talent, but it seems like they've tried with LT, they've tried the trick plays with Kramarti on the field, they've tried it with Curly a little bit, have they? Have they done it once? I feel like if they wanted to, Curly could probably do it. I feel like they gotta do it, during the bye week. fucking jets go pick a guy and say we're gonna build a package for you and by the way while you're doing it build a package For McKnight. Well they did He was receiving no they that's what they did they lined him up to 29 They lined him up as a running back the motion amount as a wide receiver But don't you want to see him run the ball a little bit? Yeah, I do cuz you know what? The other guys are getting done. There used to be a little change of pace with Chong Green rumbling, stumbling up the middle for three and a half.
01 Justin: I mean Chong Green... I don't. I mean I'm not sold on him. I'm not sold on him. He's a feature back. He's the back that after you dance around a little bit... And in the third and fourth quarter, you've worn the other team down a little, you put a bruiser. And then he can bust one. And then he can bust one and go with it. Well, he even did. Last night he had a 20-yard run. He had another run for like 10 yards or something. Once you wear the other team down, and the point is, he's the guy who has to wear them down, so he's getting worn down. So it's. I mean, I'd like to think that he's, he could be as good as like Ben Jarvis Green Ellis, who I think is a very good running back and doesn't get a lot of credit for being a very good running back. But he's tough to tackle. He scores. Like, these are things that I'd like to see Sean Green be able to do. Hate to bring it back to a Patriots thing. Because you're a Patriots fan. The other thing last night that I thought was rather interesting was I said to you, I thought it was actually one of Dorell Rebus' worst games, even though he had two interceptions and one was a hundred yard touchdown return. If you took away the reception, if you took away those two interceptions, so then you have to take away the run back, you take whatever, statistically he probably did. It just didn't seem like he was as stuck to his guy as he normally is. Well, they were changing it up, and the one time that they literally left him, and I know it was a formation, whatever, but one time they left Marshall out alone with Kamarti, Kamarti slips and falls, and Marshall makes his big play of the game for 46 yards. And he's down the field on an underthrow for more. could have been a touchdown. But also, it was interesting was- I've seen Reavis a couple of times- Yeah, but that went for nine yards, for 10 yards. Oh, he's so beat him. You know, he was really- But not beat him, he was on it. Yeah, but usually the guy that Reavis is covering is not catching the ball. Like, it doesn't happen. Well, part of that is he's a little bit of his own myth in that people don't target him, which is interesting about the Dolphins, and I'm giving credit for it. Like, you know, I- I'll give him credit for it. I don't know how many pass defenses he had. I know he had two interceptions. He literally, they normally team just stay away from him. They stay... You know what, they went after him because he had two picks and he had four pass defenses. Yeah. Four knockaways or whatever. He had a good game. It's just they went after him. And eventually you've got a top 15 wide receiver. And you got a quarterback who's gonna throw like whatever, you know, 34 times. He went after him. Matt Moore was not successful. Brandon Marshall not successful. One play. Well, Brandon Marshall did have... One play. Take away a 46-yard play and he's back under 70. He still got five more catches. Zero touchdowns. Doesn't matter. He's got five catches. You're thinking about it from a fantasy perspective. No, I'm talking about it from a reality perspective. He had a number of touches. No touchdowns. He taught him ball. No, I didn't say touchdown. I said touches.
00 Justin: He has six. Six receives. So that's a decent amount of receptions. That moves the chains. He had a couple of, you know, first down catches. Even if you take the 46 yards away, and you take that one catch away, he's still over 10 yards a catch. I mean, he had an effective game, and he's got one of the best in the, the best in the game covering him. I mean, the interception was the thrill that he was throwing to Marshall. I saw the replay of it on TV. We were watching on your little game vision. Fan vision. Fan vision, whatever it was. It was hard to see. If you were a Dolphins fan, you might say that that was Passenar. Oh, it was down with Passenar. He pulled that out. He pulled that his shirt. Well, he did. Pull him down. He also sort of has the right to that space and he sort of moved him off of his space. Right. It could have gone either way. Gudin called it out. Gudin said it 500 times in the recap. He's like, I thought that was pass interference. I thought that was pass interference. That's pass interference. Rebus also gets a little respect in that case, where he's a physical guy, they know it, they know he's the best. And you know what? He has a right to his space on the field. Like, if he's going after the ball, he can go after the ball. So, good play on him. I sort of thought it was his worst. Game of the Year looking at the stats doesn't look that way wasn't but of this year I think it was his worst game. I think this is worse because Statistically because they actually were throwing it much more than they normally do I think once or twice in other games They will throw a ball towards him and then he'll bat that one away and then go or forget this Not this anymore this right forget it. Then he's good So this time they made a very care- because they had no other weapons. So they made an effort just to say, we're- fuck it. Win or lose, we're 0 and 4. Win or lose, I'm gonna target him. And they lost. And they lost. They didn't get a touchdown. Brandon Marshall didn't get a touchdown. Matt Moore didn't score a touchdown. Fuck it. I don't care. Target him all day long. If you don't want to score touchdowns, that's a good way to lose the game. Can you, uh, shoot my horn a little bit? Oh, you want me to shoot your horn about the one play you called? I call a lot of plays. I call a lot of plays. I almost made a not nice thing, but Nostra Edelsteinish? Nostra Justinish? I mean, I call a lot of plays. You called a couple. You called the punt block from years ago. I called a lot of years ago. Years ago. At the Cowboys game. And this one you saw them winding up, the Mark Sanchez lining up, spreading wide. There was no one in the middle. and he said he better go run for it and he ran for it for it. Before the snap. Yeah before the snap. Okay. Yeah, no. Before everyone knows. After the play, I called it. I said, look at that. He should, wait, he did it. Alright, pick your night. We got some nights, three weeks. So we, wait, let's just recap. We break a three week losing streak on the roads. Very tough part of our schedule, although we got another tough part coming right up. But back to three and three, five hundred. Let's pick a night. Alright, so you get one night pick a night one night. Alright, so Why don't we just both give a night to Revas and then I think I'm gonna I'm saying no, no we can say Revas you would get you would get the night and then we'll both pick another night
05 Justin: All right, you go first. All right. I actually I'm not gonna pick A night night, I'm gonna pick a, something that I just thought, well, no, I'm gonna pick a night. I'm gonna pick, because a guy, this is my guy. I'm all in on this guy. All right. I'm all in on Maven. You're all in on Air Maven? I'm all in on Maven. This guy has now done more in the three games he's been on the field, than Gholston did in two years, three years? Three years. Yeah. Right? He now has two sacks, he had two force fumbles yesterday. day. I hate to say I'm right, but I'm right. I said I think this guy can come in, they're gonna turn him, and we're gonna have, this is gonna be the story of the anti-Golston, right? We paid nothing for him, literally picked him up the scrap heap, and we're gonna turn him into a playmaker. He's a playmaker. That guy, I think now, give him a bye week? I think this guy's gonna be good. I like it, I'm so excited because I have a lot of it in the trash time though. Garbage time. He wasn't really on the field for a lot of the game. Force Bumbles? At the end of the game. Two Sax? At the end of the game. Let's relax for a second. I'm getting my maybe jersey. I just ordered it. Quick. That's like, you know, it's a little garbage time stuff. But... This is what it is. He played well. At the end of the game. Has he done more than you thought he would ever do? Oh yeah. And he's on the field. And he's making plays. He's fast as hell. He's pretty fast. I don't know if he's a power rusher, he seems to be a speed rusher. He's fast. He's really fast. I don't know if he's big enough to power provide guys, but... He's quick. Put him in the right... But this is the thing. Give a guy who does something great on defense. It's kind of like what, guys, this is a suck off of the Patriots, but it's kind of what Patriots do to their players. They'll take a player, they'll figure out what he does really well, and they'll put him in a position to be very good. So whatever coach should do. Generally, Rex Ryan is very good at taking a guy and saying, you've got some talents, I'm going to work something in so your talents can shine. And if this guy's got any talent, then Rex Morris is gonna find it. And I'm just excited, because I'm thinking at some point, it's gonna be the play that we need it to be. It's gonna be the third and four from the 20, and he's gonna sack Brady, and it's gonna go fucking all the way back to the touchdown. And we're gonna win the fucking Super Bowl. I don't know. Whatever. There you go. Alright, so I'm picking him, because I think he needs some love. Okay. I'm gonna pick a guy who needs some love. Who really needs some love. Could've picked the O-line. I'm picking a guy from the O-line. Who needs some love? Because by all accounts... Can I guess? No, that takes the fun out of it for me. It's on my screen. You might even be able to see it. No, I can't see it. I'm just going to guess. No. No. No. When you don't notice a guy, that's a good thing. I did have one penalty, a false start. Jake: But... Justin: He... Protect... Sanchez got sacked one time. They did run for 100 yards. Some of it in garbage time again. Was... It was actually exactly 100 yards. I'm picking Wayne Hunter.
01 Justin: Okay. Wayne Hunter kept Cameron Wake away from Marc Sanchez the entire game. And that's a hard matchup. Cameron... Cameron Wake... is a beast, although I think he's disappearing. I don't know. I think, you know, once you do something and you get some attention, teams start actually paying attention to you. But Cameron Wake, he's a beast and Wayne Hunter handled him for the most part the entire game. No sacks for Cameron Wake. Sanchez was clean, only got sacked on like the last drive, Yeah, it was... Which really didn't matter at that point. And Wayne Hunter's been scrutinized, certainly by me and by others, me being the most influential. And... Because you're a broadcaster. And, you know, for... I mean, he still had the false start. He gets a flag every game. But he's getting better. Right. And he's just gonna get better, hopefully, because he's now our starter and he hasn't really started before. So... I'm picking Wayne Hunter. Throw us some love out to the coaching too because we have a really great offensive line coaching. Well, let's not throw too much love. We're still not running the ball very effectively. It's getting better. It's gotten better the last two games. I still think we're a little stubborn. We could have thrown all over the Dolphins last night, I feel, if we really wanted to. Because they were path blocking very well. Couple other notes. Plastical on the drops, gotta stop. He's always been a dropper. Yeah, no it's funny because when we picked him up, all I was saying, he's got great hands. He's like Braylon Edwards. I think we got a three inch taller Braylon Edwards. He makes insanely crazy catches and then will drop ones out. Well, the thing that I will now say that I think I'm right on is that when we said at the beginning when we did our swap out of wide receivers versus wide receivers, were we better this year than we were last year. And you said, I think we're better. And I said, I think we're at, we're think we're flat, if not down. I think I'm right, we're down. At this point in the year, you have to say our wide receiver core is not as good as it was last year. No, no, no. Consider we just got rid of one of the guys where you said was a, was better. Yeah, but you know what? He can't even, he can't even get on the field. Because he's so deep, he's so deep. There's so many people there. I don't even know if he's healthy. Thank you for watching. I mean, no use in anything. You think our wide receivers this year are better than... But just right now. They're better. Right now. Make a judgment. I don't think they're better. I don't think they're that much worse though either. Well, no, no, no. I feel like they're flat. You said I think they're flat to above. I think they're flat to below. I'm going to say they're flat. Right now, I think they're a little bit below. I don't think they're... I mean, again, Sam's only at home just doing what he does. Great play, he could have gotten a knife at a great play. They don't... they don't... They don't use him well enough. They don't use anybody well enough. It's sort of weird. It's like, they don't use anybody well. You're like, oh, we have better weapons than the Patriots. It's actually not true. Factually correct. Factually incorrect. We have great weapons. They're just... It's not then why don't they catch the ball more often? Why does Park Scoobers have because the whole line is because the other line
05 Justin: Is not that good because the whole line played great last because we're getting out of the hands quickly because he's going back They do for 200 yards. Where'd they go? Like where did all these where did they go? They threw over 200 yards? 63 to homes on three catches fine color had two for 51 McKnight had 29. I mean, where are the receivers? Curly had 2 for 18 and Plax 1 for 16. They had to have been more open than that. Well, you have your receivers get six catches all game. Yeah, really? It's not good. Doesn't seem right. That's that's I don't know if that's not right. If that's a scheme thing. I don't know. I don't think it's a talent thing. They threw for 200 yards. I don't know. I just don't know where they went. No picks, one touchdown, fine. I'll take the win. Let's not do what those Giants fans do and say that we... Well, I don't think we played a fantastic game. We played pretty poorly in the first quarter, but after that we played good enough to beat the Owen 4, now Owen 5, Dolphins. Next week. Next week's the challenge. This coming week. Yeah.
