09 Jake: The best place to be is when expectations are high. Get used to it. It's always going to be that way. Get away! Welcome to JKM pod. As always the longest running your chest podcast almost fricked it up, but I didn't know you did Yeah, a little bit. I'm Jake joining me for hundred fifty first time In our lives for almost five years or something ridiculous Thusly the longest running near a test podcast is Justin Justin. I doing today I'm good. We got nothing to talk about the Jets are awesome. Oh Justin: podcast over Jake: Yeah, awesome. All right, so we have you know We want to keep going and doing things even though there's a little bits of news. I asked for some feedback yesterday. You got a lot of stuff. We got a lot. So we will go into a little bit of the news, discuss it, but then we'll pretty much go in and do some fan questions and stuff because I think that there's lots of it there. So that'll be... Wow! Yeah, pretty much. Hello, Matt Keach. Yeah. Hey, Matt. Thanks for sending a few things over for us to talk about. So, but let's go down the agenda. We got some Revus news, some DeVito news, we got some... people leaving and some hard knock news. We'll talk a little bit about the Jets fantasy league, the checking fantasy league, and then we'll do the tweets and Facebook stuff. So let's get through it quickly. Let's do it. DeVito takes a pay cut down to 70k a year. No. Something like that. $70,000. Justin: 700, 700k. Yeah but that's like pretty salary stuff. You know he's gonna make more than that. so thoughts he like loses like here's the deal you're Mike DeVito okay yeah you're not Justin talk you're not no Jason Pierre Paul you're not trying to think it you're not Jason Babin no you're you're not hiloti nada you're you're Mike DeVito that's okay you serve a role and a purpose in this specific defense And we just drafted your replacement. Right. So here's the deal. Mike, sitting across from me. Are you talking to me, Mike? You're Mike. I'm Mike. I'm Tannenbaum. You're DeVito. Okay. Hey, Mike. You have an option. Yeah. You can play football this year with the New York Jets. Yes. You might even still start. Yep. Maybe you'll definitely play quite a bit. We want you here. We like you here, but your salary Little inflated for a backup right like defensive guy who missed a bunch of games last year when you had a starting role Here's the deal. We're gonna cut your salary to whatever we're gonna cut it to right
05 Justin: But we're gonna make it up to you. We're gonna give you a bunch of incentives We'll get you pretty much close to what you're making what you were supposed to make right? But you'll help us out in the cap right and we'll keep you on the team right or you can walk out the store And you'll be cut yeah, try to get another job and have fun Mike DeVito not Jason Babbin right Mike DeVito Call this the Kellen Clemens option. This is the common Clemens option. This is the World's we're still gonna pay ya we're paying you Yeah, if you say yes to this you're guaranteed to be on the team this year. You have a guaranteed job, right? That's better than not having a guaranteed job, right? Like where does Mike DeVito go and gets like like guaranteed? He's got a job doesn't matter So big deal not a big deal Not a big deal, let's say, well, well, a little bit of a big deal. Saves us some money on the cap for whatever else we might need. Another receiver, maybe a rebus thing which we'll get to. Saves any bit of money you can save on your cap. Good. Keeps the guy on the team who's a good... by all accounts good guy to have on the team nice player knows better in a backup role right if he's not a starter that rotation just gets better if he's coming off the bench and it's fresh more often you know because odds are the three starting linemen game one is gonna be Mo it's gonna be Puat and it's gonna be Copples and that's what's gonna be and Davido will be a guy off the bench right that's probably what he should be Yep. So. Great good move going forward speaking of good moves gone Jake: Reavis is Not going to hell about so he's not I actually post this the other day I posed the question to you like no no no it became news He has two years left on his contract, but when people started looking at it. He's still the most highly paid Like he still makes more, I mean I think he was the most highly paid defenseman? How is that possible if he has 2 years 13 million dollars? Justin: Like that math doesn't equal unless he's making 12.9 million dollars this year and then nothing next year. I don't know. All I know is last year he made a boatload of money. Jake: He made a boatload the last two years. Right. So good for him. I don't... Anyway, he came out. We're gonna talk about the Reeves thing, but he came out and he said I'm not I'm under contract I got two years. I'm not doing it good next year. We'll be talking sure. Yeah, I'm sure we will Have a good season, but Interesting news that came out about him. Yes, which was I read this. Yeah, this is the on pro football focus Not really ball talk. I thought no, it's pro football focus football focus. Yep Has ranked Revas as the fifth best player. of all players, of all football, not all players all time but all current players Justin: the fifth best based on statistics, statistical evidence
00 Justin: this is the good stuff it is good stuff I like it they went into like the percentage of balls that were completed that were targeted against him and in the fourth quarter and like down in the red zone and broke it down Jake: He gave up one touchdown last year. Yep. I remember it. He played away played off the guy. Yeah, we were like Oh, I didn't even give up a touch to play bump, but he let me let me let the guy come in I don't know why that happened. It was like the biggest surprise in the world was it was it was I was angry Yeah, here was here's a guy who's so good when he lets one guy score one touchdown the whole season myth Justin: Yeah, I remember the fucking bills game It's like when Mariano blows a save for the Yankees, which I'm still mourning. Yeah, let's not. But it's like that shock. It's like, oh, did that just happen? Really? So they had all these statistics of... And who was the balls to throw to him? Well, the Bills did. They had all these statistics about how he was great. And Red Zone, great just in terms of like, he didn't give up a lot of... I think... It was like 40% of the balls thrown his way were completed which is abysmal. The quarterback rating throwing the ball towards Rebus in the fourth quarter was one point something. Like the QB rating was one point something. That's like... Basically, you're not even playing right? How are you that bad? It? No it is it Jake: He is that good and that good for years now the year before me. He is just he is that good Justin: The NFL started their top 100 players, right? Yes that NFL Network thing well for the for the previous season Yes, cuz last year he was in the top 10 Yep, I think he was like seven. Yeah, it was just outside the top five I wonder if he'll be back in the top ten because he didn't have as good a year, right? But I feel like those are out that one touchdown he did Although he had more interceptions and he like scored touchdown stuff But I feel like just watching it didn't seem like he had as Great a year as he did like two seasons back the year before he held out. Like he was like absurd. I think people just dored, Jake: I think that was the year that people tested him more. And I feel like people, smart quarterbacks don't test him. No, they throw it pro, they throw over the middle. Yeah, and that's why those guys get toasted is because they don't test Reavis, and they shouldn't test him. I mean, it's a great game plan. You take, you put your best guy on Reavis and you basically take him away. Okay, and except for when Rex Ryan pulls. And that's all. make a new press and then Steve touchdown so that's paid a pay the bill Justin: I wonder if he'll be in that top 10 still I imagine he will things where Jake: Yeah, I mean I think it's a lot. That's a lot of you watched any of them yet I I only watch the ones that Jets in them and I watch like I think I watched the top 10 or 20 last year Justin: Along I mean it's like long or hour long. Yeah, it's it's 10 one-hour shows And I watched them when I know that the Jets there's a just although it might have even been longer because I think the top
04 Justin: 10 was split into 6 through 10 1 through 5 and yeah each an hour. Yeah, I don't have the NFL Network right now. So I can't I don't even know the list. I haven't really been paying attention Speaking I know Tim Tebow is like 95 he was which our angers me because Sanchez probably won't be on that list Jake: Yeah, but okay, but if I said to you, without the whole craziness of, if I said, Tebow or Sanchez last year as players. Yeah, I guess you'd pick Tebow. Justin: Why wouldn't you? I get it. Took his team just better record, playoffs, won a playoff game, all that stuff. Yeah, why not? Jake: Football player, sure. Beat better teams. Had the incredible comebacks. I mean, they come against Miami. They were 15 points down with two minutes ago. It's his fault they were 15 down. How many did they have at that point? Like zero. Justin: Zero. Whatever. That gets lost in the shuffle by the way. Like these comebacks where they win like 10-7. It's like, whoa, he came back! It's like, yeah, he had three points the whole game. Because he had to come back. He had to throw one touchdown. He had three points. Jake: Next up news, we lose a scouting guy? I don't... Like, I feel like this is one of the things that I'd love to talk about, but I don't know what... Okay, a guy who I didn't know what he I mean if he walked by me in in out downstairs in Times Square He walked right by me. I wouldn't you know wouldn't know anything seems like weird timing to Justin: Lose your VP of college scouting to go to a different team Kind of like it's over. It's a weird. Well, it's a weird time. It's like alright. He's leaving now to go to go to It's weird timing from both the Jets perspective and the Raiders perspective. From the Jets perspective it's weird because it's like, okay, we just did the draft. By all accounts, the VP of College Scouting probably has a big say in the drafting. And it's like, well, you're leaving now? Did you know you were leaving two weeks ago? Probably. Did you know you were, you know, like, was your heart in it? Were you in it? Did you sabotage us? Why not? Too many players. And then the Raiders, it's like, OK, so you just did your draft and now you're going to get the new like college scout guy. I think it's because college season starts earlier. Jake: And literally the job to probably scout for next year's draft probably started. That's what I'm saying. The spring stuff. That's what I'm saying. So I'm saying I think that job, that scouting job, ends. basically at the end of the draft and so then you leave after the draft. It seems like weird timing but whatever. Yeah I mean you know how that affects us? I don't know. I feel like we actually have a friend we have a friend we used to work with that his buddy was a scout for the Patriots. That's right. And I feel like I feel like scouts are like I think that's Diamond Dunson. I think like they have like 17 scouts on a team. You have to go to school to be a scout. Yeah, whatever. Um... For baseball. Next up is some good news, not really, but the Jets are still in consideration for hard knocks.
02 Jake: I know. It says Rex nor Tannenbaum want this to happen. Fuck them. They don't want it to happen. Hey listen Tannen, listen here Rex. I'm a fan. I want my popcorn. I want my ticket to the circus. I want hard knocks. No excuses. There's no excuse? What's the difference? It's the same thing, there's just a camera there. I literally, here's the thing. I feel like this is a shit season. I have this huge gut feeling that this is gonna be a shit season for so many reasons. Fine, but I just wanna watch it all. Just give me it. I want it in my eyes. Justin: I want hard knocks. For 17 weeks. Yeah, I want every I want every week. I want hard knocks Like I don't just want preseason. I want regular season. So it's good Jake: We're still on the running that Falcons turn them down seems like a lot of people are just turning them down Doesn't make this makes no it makes all the sense in the world I would you not just take the team that had the best hard knock season two years ago that had all this turmoil last year, Rock, Lachman turmoil, then you throw in the T-bow into it. It's a media fucking circus. Let's do it. Let's get this circus going. I can't wait. Oh. I don't know why it's not happening. It will happen. It will happen. I believe it to happen. Next up, little housekeeping news. Something I wanted to put on the agenda because we had talked about it. I kinda wanna. ... I want to talk about it on air so we can kind of say what we want to do or not do. Go on. Which is the the Jet Kingdom Fantasy League. We said we would do it last year. We're doing it. We're doing it. All right, you want to talk about some formats? No, it's too early. Well, a couple things we've talked about. One is we said we're gonna have some way for people to enter in. Well, yeah, it's not too early because if you think about the way we're gonna get people in let's say we've got in one personal week You're gonna have to go out nine weeks from the start of it Justin: All right, so we're gonna have a how big they're ten or twelve teams Jake: Okay, I want to go ten. All right, so the other one all-star game cuz the cuz the one I'm in We feel the other one is everyone. I have really good team or 16. I feel like ten. Let's start with ten Justin: All right, ten team league ten team where to and we're doing even so eight. So eight Seven more. Seven more. So seven weeks. So seven more teams. Head to head. Head to head definitely. Head to head is the only way to go. And not a keeper league. Not a keeper. You're not guaranteed your spot. Nope. Not doing that. Nope. And it'll just be an online Jake: draft. I want that. I want to be standard. So here's what I want. And you tell me you can argue with me. But then I'll just overrule you. I want to be the ESPN Standard League fine You know why I don't have to do anything well cuz I yeah cuz I don't I don't want to frick with any of that Justin: I want just to be whatever cuz fine ESPN Standard League done sold. Okay next cool next course How are people gonna get into it? We're gonna start the league and people will Jake: We'll do something on Facebook or something. I we have Twitter. Yeah, I think what we should do is have people apply for it
04 Jake: Send us any job. Well send us your cover letter and a resume and a resume tell us why why should you be? How long have you been listening? Yep, we want to know some stuff. So we'll make that formalized We'll put it out there. You know, how long you've been listening. Why would you be good in the league? Are you ever done fancy before Justin beat you every week? Yeah, yeah. All right, so 10 10 standard head to head head to head non-keeper, no PPR. No, standard. Whatever standard is. What is it? What is it? What is it? Justin: We're not changing the rules. We don't care. We'll do a prize. We'll do a trophy. Jake: Because I love making trophies. You know this? You're going to ship a trophy to me? Oh, I wouldn't be shipping it, would it, now? To me? You're going to walk it up five floors? Yeah, I could walk it up. Alright, cool. So that's a little bit. People out there start thinking about why you should be checking the fantasy league. KATHRYN Justin: 2012 season. Yeah. Alright. Oh, should we throw another rule in there? What? No jets on anyone's team? Jets have to stay on the waiver wire. Not allowed. No jets. Kind of funny. Or one person gets to have all jets. Or you have to have a jet on your team. One or the other. Think you have to have a jet on your team. Yeah, you have to have a jet like no matter what you have to have a Jump jet whether it's your kicker whether it's the defense. Well, let's see kicker defense Two quarterbacks. There's four. Yep, because you could feasibly play right either of them That way I start or has to be on the team on the team and start. Okay, that's different homes running back Number one running back number two receiver number two Keller receiver number three 10 done all right how to start them you have to start a changes the draft strategy it does Take that's a little early. That's a rule you have to start a jet have to start it by week fine Nobody's starting a jet. That's it. It's very simple But you can swap out someone else for that week. Well yeah, I mean that makes it easy because you Can't start a jet and nobody could start a jet so it's every week that they're playing everybody has to have a jet Yeah, great. Good. I like that rule. That's a good rule. It's a good rule It's a fun rule for the Jack Kingdom podcast fantasy football league Jake: JF KPM go fuck yourself. That's a new hashtag on Twitter I've ever heard one we have a ton of stuff to go over Matt. You wrote so much I'm not even sure I could cover it all if I started today. Let's start with Adam Alright, so we asked for some... So basically, we're on Facebook, facebook.com slash JetKingdom. I now post before the show so people can ask questions. And apparently people are asking questions. So Matt basically posted... Justin: Matt went into the draft and wrote his opinion on every single pick we picked. But he posted one that we didn't get last time. So we at least have to hit that one. Alright, so let's start with Adam. and then we'll go to Matt. Okay. Matt had a lot. So Adam asked, uh, Adam,
04 Justin: I won't say his last name. Well, you got Adam, Rich, and, and Matt. Yeah. So Adam asked, Adam K. Not a Jets question in particular. Just a football question. What's your opinion on the NFL possibly hosting more than one regular season game abroad per year? I know that Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and Germany are being considered for hosting. I read it this morning All right, we can go I started answering games in the future Wembley's hosting until 2014 at least and being from Ireland Okay, I'd love to see more games held in Europe So do you think it's a good idea probably not fair to home fans but playing in Europe can only help popularity Also, would you guys give would you guys go to a jet game or any other game held in Europe? All right. So here's my which of the 17 questions are you gonna answer? Here's my opinion. Okay. Regular season National Football League games should not be held anywhere but in the home stadiums of the teams playing in those games. Wow! There should be no England game in Wembley, let alone more games over in Europe. Okay? caveat. Pre-season games should be played in Europe. You can play as many as you want. The home team fans don't want to buy those tickets anyway and they're forced to. And if you look at, for example, this morning I bought tickets to see Chelsea play PSG in... At Yankee Stadium right it's a preseason game for both of those teams. They're in different leagues, but whatever their European soccer Tres and they're playing their warm-up preseason games and they oftentimes travel across America to do that Manchester United comes over Chelsea comes over You know some of the bigger teams come over and they play here in New York and in Chicago in LA and wherever There's no reason why the NFL couldn't ship Five to ten preseason games over to Europe play them well they do ship one to Japan every year They almost always have a tough one. Oh, they do well. There's no reason why They couldn't hold Upwards of ten like a whole whole week's worth of preseason games over in Europe, again, you're a Jets season ticket holder. If you had the choice to buy the preseason games, you would maybe buy them. You'd buy them because you're you, but a lot of fans don't wanna buy those games. They don't wanna even watch them, let alone go to them. Jake: They just need to discount them. They charging $125. Or starting the same price for some it's crazy same game. I don't mind that they make you buy them Justin: They just shouldn't change the same and the regular season game one of 16 one of eight. Yeah means a lot Yeah, and the home crowd means something right in a lot of stadiums In most stadiums being home. You're generally better at home unless you're a bad team. You're generally better at home. Yep and
03 Justin: having That taken away from you arbitrarily doesn't really hurt the away team because they're just traveling anyway Jake: Yeah, generally you get the bi-week. I think it helps the way team because they're not in a they're not in a hospital Disadvantage if you're if the Jets playing the Ravens and it's supposed to be in the Ravens home, right? And you get to go play in Wembley. Yeah, that's an event as a Jets fan. I'm like, yes Justin: So sort of answer, I mean That's how I feel about it to answer the last question if the Jets play Europe. I'll be there. Yes, absolutely So so that's I think it's a reason to go to Europe and I get to watch a jet game Jake: So I'm actually I'm I'm okay with it. I'm okay with the I would say two games a year I could see them doing two out there two games a year Everybody's gonna get a you know a shot at it. Eventually. It's both a good and a bad thing Again, from the NFL standpoint, because I'm going to put on my NFL cap, not my Jets cap. I want the NFL to be the most popular thing on the planet, and I want everybody to watch it. So if this helps that, great, because the better the NFL is, the more there is, the more the game gets better, I want more. from a fan of a team that like is an away game? Awesome. Yes. There's an away game to travel to. So then there's that other, there's that one of whatever team times, you know, your home teams. So once every five years or once every 10 years we lose a home team, home game and it happens to be in a foreign country, I'm okay with that. As long as it's... Now, they've also talked about doing it another way, which is taking a team, kind of like they're doing with the bills. and kind of saying, you're always going to be away. Like the Bills signed a five year thing, go up to Toronto one game a year. They've been talking about taking a team and they're talking about the Bucks actually. Justin: Well, yeah, because their owners own soccer team and making them play, Jake: making them the team that plays there every year. Justin: Yeah, but then they keep losing and they don't like it. But, but, well, they've won anyway. Jake: But the point is that they then create an audience. They create fans there. Right, so putting the Bills in Toronto, there are now people who are Bills fans in Toronto. It's closer to Drive, whatever. So I could see that, like I could, you know, if the Bucks had, every year they have a game and then whoever's on that schedule, whatever that game is, you would then play the Bucks. Don't care one or two games a year if it's one every five years I lose a home game I'm okay with that because again that's so in frequent every year No, I have a fit every couple years to a fit but once every five years Justin: I feel like an oh a either way at home I don't care which one there should be some rules and regulations around it like if they're gonna do that again I'm against it, but I wouldn't want to play a division game I wouldn't I wouldn't want I mean I wouldn't want to have one of our home Pat's games taken away and go over there I I would feel also wrong about taking one of our away Pat's games
00 Justin: I mean that's like a division thing right played home away It should be it should be one of the games that you're playing against the other conference like this year You know it'd be a perfect game. Yeah, the Seattle game Seattle exactly it should be another way The other conference Games that you play should be the ones that the ones that sort of matter the absolute least the ones that don't have any bearing on the playoff The playoff tiebreakers or anything and again Jake: They won't do it too much because then the fans would get upset and then then fans will stop buying season tickets and see tickets Justin: So that so it has a self-regulation. I still think I still think the preseason is the way to go over that over there It's all about just showcasing the game. I don't know maybe Adam you could comment If people are living in London, do they really care that it's a preseason game or regular season game? It's just a game like here me. I'm going to that Chelsea game. I don't care that it's preseason I know it's a friendly, but I Don't get to see them. So I'm going to see it. Yeah, that's it Jake: Yeah, the media thing is much more on the games again. I I'm okay with one or I'm okay with two games a year and having it be, I mean they did one in Mexico a while ago and I thought that was really successful too. So, you know, mixing it up a little bit. Alright, let's go to Matt's big question. Justin: So, last week, we didn't have time, we didn't see it before the podcast. was recorded. The question was, I believe the Jets should eschew the Wildcat in favor of having Tim Tebow lineup as a fullback in the I formation. You would have to use the I form quite a bit to get Tebow some game time, but it has certain advantages. One, it enables Sanchez to maintain his rhythmic quarterback. We're not going to be subbing him in, subbing him out, etc. He takes all the snaps, he can practice one offense, etc. 2. If you run the Wildcat with Sanchez on the field, you're wasting a player. He's of no use if he's forced to line up as a receiver. If we use T-Bo as a fullback in the I-form, we're not handing the other team a man advantage. 3. With T-Bo as a fullback in the I-form, the possibilities are endless. We have two guys that could pass at any time, and T-Bo could run any number of option plays out of the fullback position. Though many rightfully criticized both Sanchez and T-boat for lacking accuracy, how many teams can put two passers of their caliber on the field at all times? How can the NFL defense effectively game plan for a fullback with a 50% completion percentage? I will take that question right now. Jake: That's 17 questions. The question is, how are the Jets going to most effectively use T-boat? We don't know. Well, I want to address a few of these points. Alright. Justin: So number one, first point. You can't run the wildcat with a guy in the full back. He's a full back. He's no longer a weapon in the wildcat package. If you're lining up in the eye formation, the full back is a blocker or a pass catcher. He's not a guy you snap the ball to or hand the ball off with any space. There's no space. He's now just going up the middle. So I don't really think that makes a whole lot of sense. He can't pass the ball from the fullback position. Jake: It doesn't work.
00 Justin: Well, secondly... Jake: But, wait, counter to that. That's where shifting positions and lining up as one thing and then quickly shifting to lining up as another thing. That's why if you ran... I think this is a good point it is. If you ran that with him as the fullback in the I-form... two times and you line up him a third time, defense gets ready and you're like, okay, switch it up and he can go somewhere else. And I think that's like, oh fuck, wait, now T-Boe's somewhere else and I was ready for him to do this. So, has an advantage. Justin: It has a certain advantage in that perspective, from that perspective, but you still have to then line T-Boe up as a fullback and, you know, he's taking some pounding at that point. Don't care. Secondly, lining up Sanchez as a wide receiver is not as wasteful as you may think. What you're trying to do when you take a guy and stretch him out wide like that in the Wildcat is you're literally moving a defensive player outside with him. So whether a corner... someone still has to account for him. Right, right. So whether it's a corner that's covering him fine or if it's a linebacker that you get out of the box fine or if it's a safety that you get out of the box fine there's it's still not it's someone's gotta stay away from the play someone has to still right so you're not playing 10 on 11 you're still playing 11 on 11 conversely if it's actually the reverse right if the quarterback Sanchez is in there as a quarterback you're playing offense 10 on 11 Because all he could do is get the ball snap to him and throw it all you do well That's what he's doing. He's he's he's not a guy you have to cover or account for right? He's like when they count the guys in the box Yeah They create the mismatches based on the quarterback being the guy who's just gonna get the ball and throw it and not run with it So Sanchez moving outside Has to force somebody to actually guard Sanchez whereas if he's under center nobody's guarding Sanchez, okay? The second thing is if you're gonna have Sanchez split out wide and The guy who's gonna take the snap is Tim Tebow. Tim Tebow can throw the ball to mark Sanchez behind the line of scrimmage You wouldn't necessarily trust a running back to take the snap turn Throw to a guy behind the line of scrimmage who can then throw the ball, right? you would maybe trust Tebow to do that once in a while. Say, hey, you know what? Take this snap. We're gonna motion sanches out wide. Someone's gonna go with them. Maybe they'll pay attention to them. Maybe they won't. Hopefully they won't be. If you see that, toss it out to them and then we'll have someone streaking down the other side liner. Some wack, crazy wacky play. You're gonna see some wacky things going on this year. I don't think it works in the full back situation. Alright. Someone else also commented on that particular topic. Jake: Yeah, I mean you can read it from It's Rich. Rich has a good, in my opinion, has a really good theory here.
01 Jake: Could you not have Sancho's Tebow on the field side by side, a direct snap to the running back Tebow, then runner pass, or the snap to Sanchez for a dummy Wildcat play? How could the defense even scheme about the twin headed wildcat? That's a good idea. Listen, this is all the stuff that's going to happen. None of this is theoretical. And I think the one thing I want to comment on, because I think it's all just talking about what they could possibly do, it's all great. One thing I can comment on is the taking Sanchez out of the play thing. I go back. success, I look back, first year, second year, third year, they took him out of the play more in the first two years, right? Now of course his numbers weren't as good, meaning pass yards, touchdowns, whatever in those first two years, and they did it, you know, but they would either take him out completely, I remember when they just take him out Brad Smith package and they just put him on the sideline and they would be just Sanchez sitting on the sideline, okay, he ain't gonna do it, he's not catching the ball now. I don't think that that's going to hurt Sanchez. I honestly just don't it's not He's not at the level where? That's gonna hurt him yet Maybe in two three years when he's that passer when he's gets in a rhythm when he is But I think at this point he's still in the position that taking a play off still a good thing still get your head out of the game for a second or you know and and go back and look at something while a player two happens and then come back in. I think that's still cool and it worked. Again if you just took Tim Tebow and Brad Smith and said and just say that's the that's what this is. You never lost Brad Smith. He's still on the team. He's still on the team but he's younger, faster and has more ability as a quarterback. Right. Okay. I don't know if T-Bose is faster than Brad Smith. He's a bigger guy. He's bigger. He can run up the middle where it's been never good. He can run up the middle. I said great. I'm still in. Again, I've always said, and I'll keep saying it until I'm proven wrong, I love, love the concept of the Brad Smith replacement. And I love that that's, I love the player and his physical abilities to do that. Okay. I do not like all the other crap that comes with him. fuck you to all of them. Wow. Well, I mean, even they showed them at the, they showed them in the mini training camps or whatever and there's, there's Tebow's locker just surrounded, right, by people. It sees the backup quarterback. Again, Brad Smith was a, well actually Brad Smith wasn't a backup quarterback. That's what we need to do. We need to take him away from being a backup quarterback because that's the thing. It's always turning this into a backup quarterback situation. They're already backup controversies, you know quarterback controversy. There is no controversy. He is a player He is gonna help win games. Hopefully there's no controversy Nobody nobody in the right fucking mind should want that man to start as your quarterback for any matter period of time
05 Jake: He's a great player.
