00:25 Jake: The best place to be is when expectations are high. Get used to it. It's always going The longest running your Jets podcast ever. Joining me for the 172nd time ever. Justin, how you doing buddy? I'm good, thanks. Really, good, really? I'm good. Really? I'm all good. Oh yeah, by the way, I'm Jake. I'm all good, dude. So this is our Tuesday podcast. This is not the winning Monday podcast. No, but I'm all good. I can't wait for you to explain that. All good. All right. It's all good. Justin: Go ahead. Explain why you're good. I'm good. I'm just good. I'm over it. You're over it? What's been five days? I was laughing. I was laughing during that game. It was funny to me. All right. Well, like. I and the, You musing Jake: All right, let's let's talk about the the the agenda we're gonna talk sadly we are gonna everybody We are gonna talk about the jazz versus pads, but I'm good. We're talking about news types of those injuries Maybe talk about our playoff chances should be fun Be short segment and then we'll talk about the jackem fantasy league jackem pick them the AC AFC East Throne Picks, and then we will make our prediction and keys the castle for Jets versus Arizona, which it'll be this weekend, whether we want to or not. And so let's go with some talking about the Jets versus New England game. Let me give a little bit of how this game happened for me. And then we can talk about the actual game. Like that the actual, me going to and from this game was more interesting than the actual game. Okay. My brother-in-law, or my brother and his wife, sister-in-law came down, they're both Pat's fans. So we did hold Thanksgiving at my house, her traditional Thanksgiving, and then we decided to drive, thinking, oh, it'll take a while to get there. By the way, no time at all. It took like 22 minutes to get there. Wow. No traffic. Everyone was eating. We hung out in the parking lot for like 20 minutes, just had a beer and then went into the game. Then I woke up the next day, I don't know what happened. So what happened? Justin: Well, let me tell you what happened. Um, man, it was, it was like, uh, the first quarter happened so fast. Oh. And it was just zero zero. And it was like, oh, all right. That's what you want to happen when you're playing the pads. You want the time to just go really fast and not a lot of scoring to happen. because You know, you just keep them off the field and what have
03:00 Justin: have you. So zero zero and to the quarter. I'm all happy about it. This is great. Okay, cool. You know, we're we're we're hanging in there. We're hanging tough. You know, as the new Kids on the Block song would go and all of a sudden in the second quarter. starts to go wrong and like when things go wrong against the Pats for the Jets they go really really really wrong I mean really wrong so whatever the Pats score on like the first play of the second quarter so to say it was like a shout out after the first quarters whatever but I mean we were We were driving and as per normal we're right near the red zone and they completely fool Sanchez into throwing an interception. That was a terrible interception. It was actually a really good defensive play. I don't know if you've had the chance to watch it. I've seen it a couple times. I mean they just totally baited him and he fell for it. So good on the defense, bad on the quarterback. They scored touchdown off of that. Okay. Then we think the next, the next, as as this now goes in the second quarter, which have, we're terming 52 seconds from hell, we start a drive again, we're driving, we're basically running it right up their ass. And we're running on the paths. And it's like, all right, we're running, we're running, we're running. and it's fourth and one and we pull out the old reliable fourth and one run right nowhere up the middle for no gain. I mean no creativity, no nothing. We run the ball straight up the middle for no yards. And the fumble was... It was in constant like no consequence there like actually better for us good. I'm with the back ten yards Yeah, it was actually a good play like we weren't getting the first down So the fumble the fumble by Sean Green's whatever I mean great so they they actually lost ten yards, but whatever so Next play boom Brady to shame Vereen 83 yards touchdown Bart Scott gets picked and apparently nobody else can catch up to this guy right Eric Smith slow as shit and nobody else can catch him shame Vereen down the sideline Jake: touchdown. You've talked about to mention the first play of the game so I'm going to my seats I sit there for 20 minutes seeing all the warm-ups the first play of the game Was a Tom Brady sack. Oh, yeah, the fire was like first play the game was like big mo Justin: I was like, here we go. This is it we're gonna go. I was super pumped Jake: It was at the first quarter. I was pumped. It was a sack and and it was a any through the we were we were moving the Justin: ball, but then the interception happened in the first quarter, I believe and no good so all right
06:02 Justin: Okay, we deal with that. We're down seven nothing. No big deal Kickoff occurs, touch back, okay. So the next play from scrimmage, Sanchez misses an assignment something, there was confusion, he goes out the wrong way or bad call or didn't know what the play was, whatever, it's a busted running play. He runs, he actually slides, kind of like the smart move, but as he's sliding he slides. Into Brandon Moore and it's this has been like made into like this big Thing like how stupid can you be look up? It was like a one in a million thing where he ran into the guy It's not like he purposely decided to slide into the guy's ass And it's not like Brandon Moore knew that Mark Sanchez was running behind him. So Whatever. He fucked up, he slid, which was the smart move to slide instead of dive head first where you can fumble, but instead he fumbles anyway, and it gets picked up by Stephen Gregory, the guy who made the interception already, so now he's got two, and he returns it for a 32-yard touchdown, and all of a sudden we're down 21-0. It's like, oh fuck. This went from zero zero to 21 nothing in three minutes. Well, given another nine seconds because the kickoff occurs, McKnight takes it out, gets hit by Devin McCordie, lands right in to West Walker Jr's lap, pops into his lap. Like as he's running in stride like it was given to him. Yeah, so Edelman grabs it and jogs in for a touchdown. And before you know it, it's 28-0 and the game is over. 52 seconds. I mean, they scored 21 points in 52 seconds. And it was all bullshit. Mean broken play here Bumble on a kickoff there our special teams are killing us killing us We gave up another touchdown later in the big one to make it 35 nothing and then Just to round out the comedy of errors that the first half was we kick a field goal with two seconds left and apparently I wasn't there you can confirm fireworks go off because we scored so to I honestly didn't see that at that point so to just kill off the comedy of errors I guess Rex just did not want to go in 35 nothing he wanted three points because I was like what are you doing right what is that three point that three points means nothing means no shut up just call your time out get just go just try and score all right this is the game was over at halftime by the way 35 three this is something we need to
09:03 Jake: talk about as fans because I've been talking to people about being a fan of the jet and like what the in-game experience is and one of the things I want the jets to learn if you're listening you jets people. They're not. They're listening. They're not. They're listening. Is, well, is when shit is going bad on the field, don't act like it's a parade. Like. That's another jet's first down. Stop that shit. Justin: Like. Hey asshole, we're down 42 12. It doesn't fucking matter. Yeah. Just let us sit here. the people who are here Jake: Just leave us alone. Leave us alone. Leave us alone. Play some music for us to listen to. Play it. But don't, but don't do the like. Don't do the fireworks. And do not do the fucking cheerleaders. Yeah. At that point cheerleaders should be on the side. Justin: I felt really bad for Lenny Kravitz because he had to play it half time and I was like, man, he's gonna get booed. Then he's gotta play that stupid pathetic fake song, the Jets. Jake: Song that's anthem Jets anthem by Pepsi like what a dumb fuck thing that is so here's the best part of that game But there's the best part about the hanging out these really nice. Oh, yeah, those were nice you brought me home one Yeah, I brought you a scarf. I really appreciate that Justin: That's really the best part of that entire. Yeah. Yeah, I mean look and we got our ass kicked 4919 Hey, we... Did we win the second half? I think we won the second half, maybe. Yeah, we did. Yeah, we won the second half. No, um... Uh... We won the second half, uh, 16-14. So that was good. There's nothing good about this game. And, uh... Yeah, no, nothing good at all. Jake: I mean, what bugs me again, it's like... When this team plays bad, they don't play a little bit bad. They like turn it up to 10. No, they go all the way back. They turn it all the way. And then let everything take over and they just go to horrible. It's okay losing the pads. Like the first time we lost the pads. Losing the pads like this is just embarrassing. Well, this reminded me a lot of the 45.3. Justin: Yes. From two years ago. Jake: But that was even in their house. Yeah, that was just terrible. Justin: That was terrible. I'm looking, I wanna look here. at this year's schedule. I really want to look at last year because I don't think we beat a good team last year and I'm looking at this year. We're not going to beat a good team this year. We're not because we've already played every good team we can play. We lost them all. We lost to Pittsburgh who has a winning record. We've lost to Miami. Pat's twice. We've lost to the Pats twice. We lost to San Francisco. We lost to Houston. We beat Indy. That's a team so we lost to Seattle, but we beat Indy who might make the playoffs looks like they're gonna and we beat them That's gonna be the team. We beat and we crushed them wasn't even like a game Really and last year was very much the same we beat nobody last year. So we basically don't beat anybody good so Let's, I have a few more things to say about this game. All right, go for it.
12:00 Justin: And then we'll get to the news. This whole T-bo thing is a monstrosity. This just shows how pathetic the organization is. Jake: From the top down. All right, I'm gonna play a game. Instead of you doing thought, I'm gonna play a game. It's called fired or stay. Ooh, okay. All right. I'm gonna name 10. 10? 10 players. You can name 10. 10 people, players, entities. And you're gonna say fired or stay. Go ahead. Right? Whether they deserve it or not. What is that? I don't know. That just happened. Get off of there. That just... Whoa, what just happened? Put that somewhere where it won't vibrate. Put your vibrator away. Put my vibrator away. Alright, I'm gonna start at the top. Fired or if it's a player, cut or... Kept. Kept or cut. Okay. So it could be a player or... Alright. Kept or cut. Woody Johnson. Justin: Oh, no choice. Alright, good. Kept. Alright, there we go. Jake: Kinda owns it. Tannenbaum. Fired. Rex Ryan. Can I defer to the season? Nope, right now. Gotta make the decision. Tony Sperano. Fired. Tony Sperano. Fired. I wanna see if I just got Mike Penn. He's Rex's guy. So he's tied to Rex. Tied to Rex. Not going anywhere. Mike Westhoff. Retired. Retired. It's gonna happen. Quote unquote retired. Retired. All right, now let's go down to the big ones. Sean Green. Is he in a contract here or something? I don't care. Just saying. These guys you want to go forward for next year or you don't want to go forward with next year? He's a keeper. Alright. I don't think they're getting rid of him. He's a keeper. Uh, Tim Tebow? Justin: Caught if they can. Traded, hopefully. Uh, Santoni Holmes? You know, I think they should cut him. Just for the sake of it. Yeah, I mean, look. I'm not sure what it would matter if he was on the field or not and I feel like the sooner you can get out from under that. So I remember last year's like if we cut him then we have to pay him for this year and next year. So it was like okay. Well meanwhile we're paying him for this year he's not playing. and whatever. So I feel like if the same thing next year happens like, well if we cut him, then we have to pay him for this year also. So it's like, well just get out from under it then. Just cut him. Cut your loss. And start building back. Quickly. I mean you drafted this kid, he's not gonna be good this year, but I mean the hopes is that he's gonna be good. And last but not least... I don't know if he gets 10. Jake: Oh, well, cause I'm really going, oh wait, do I read this, back or not back? Yeah. Back, no problem with it. No matter, he's gonna be contracteer, you pay him. Pull out all the stops. Give him the money. Marty? Oh yeah. Yeah. He's actually been pretty good. Now I'll go to, I think I'm down to 10, I'm close. I'm pretty close. I like it. Mark Sanchez. No, they're tied to him. No, no, no, I'm not saying,
15:00 Jake: no, no, stop with the want, or it's not about money, it's not about whatever. If you have the choice, you can move forward with him or without him. Justin: Well, you can't just say, take the money out of the equation, because it's not, it's not. That's not the way that the NFL works. Jake: Well, either is cutting San Tony homes. If you owe him like $40 million to cut him. Justin: I'm saying I make the decision to actually cut him and take the cap. Jake: That's what I'm saying. You could do it with Sanchez. No, no. But you're doing it because of cap it, not because of what you feel like you believe in this guy. Justin: I feel like you, you should stick with this kid and give him. I mean, God, they really need. a coach that could actually make him better. Because at this point it's not working. I mean he was not getting better under Sperano. I don't know if that's him or Sperano, but it's not happening. And I feel like there's, I mean I always point at the 49ers because of Alex Smith. And how for years he was just fumbling and bumbling and looked like the worst. Number one overall pick although Jamarcus Russell pretty bad like a terrible number one overall pick particularly since you have Aaron Rodgers in the same draft who goes like 20 something and Forever, that'll be looked at as a mistake But really is it like Aaron Rodgers has had stability and the same offensive minded coaching For his whole career and Alex Smith has had different coordinators, different coaches every single year except for like the last two. And this is a good coaching staff and look what they're doing and look what they're doing with Kaepernick now. They're replacing Alex Smith. It's like, oh we were just, you know, Kaepernick's the guy we drafted, he's the guy we wanted and it's not like this guy calling Kaepernick some great quarterback. He's a good athlete. He's Tebow with glared at him I feel like it's very much coaching so I don't want to keep making excuses for Sanchez because he's got to be accountable for the actions that occur on the field but I mean sometimes it's just like what the fuck can the guy do I mean he's got Clyde Gates is his like is starting receiver and he gets a concussion and then it's Chaz Schillins and he's Got a concussion. So now who's he throwing the ball to? Jake: It doesn't even matter. But here's the thing. And I agree. But here's what I'm saying for next year, and then we'll get on to the rest of it. Because we still have a season to play, a season to play. His decision making is not about players. It's not about possession. It's not about skills. It's not about anything. It is a mental thing when you look at the defense and what's happening to the defense, and you look at a play happening. and you make a decision based on what you see physically. You make a decision physically what to do, right? Actually, there's a great book called How We Decide and the beginning of it, interesting enough, this is actually a football thing. The beginning of it, he does a big thing about Tom Brady
18:02 Jake: and how it talks about him in the Super Bowl and winning the Super Bowl, whatever. And it's really about how he makes this decision on the field. And he says that it's an instinctual thing, that when he looks and he's about to make a pie, his instincts take over based on hundreds of times doing the same thing, based on where he sees things. And it's not, he's not thinking at that point. He's instinctively throwing it, knowing that it'll either go to the right person or not. And so his instincts take over because he's been trained. and he instinctually throws it and or he looks at the situation and doesn't throw it because he's like instinctually not through thinking through oh is the guy coming across it but instinctually he knows that's not the right throw and he doesn't do it. What I'm worried about Sanchez is this instinct this this ability to make those split second decisions which are microsecond decisions his is like his clock speeds down too many because I think when the ball is halfway there he's like oh shouldn't have thrown that. and he throws too many of them that are not the ones that you, the great quarterbacks, pull back on. He's got the physical strength, he's a smart guy, he's great in the huddle, like he does stuff, everything I like. But that instinct, that ability, maybe it's just speed of brain, there's something in it that when he goes to make that decision, he just makes the wrong decision. and poorly makes it. I don't know if it can be taught. That's the thing. Justin: I don't know if it's experience. I'm going to disagree because I don't think that you can, I can't think of an example of a good quarterback that didn't have stable and really good coaching at the onset of their career. Like at or at some point like throughout their career didn't like re you know, Reese Like have a resurgence with a really good coach Right like you bring up Tom Brady and he said Bill Belichick as his head coach his entire career, right? I mean, we look at like the guys that we're with now and... Jake: Wait, wait, wait, wait. Bill Belichick not known as a quarterbacks guy. He's known as a defensive coach. Justin: He's also just a stable head coach who understands how to handle quarterbacks learned from Bill Parcells who knows how to handle quarterbacks. Jake: Okay. No bones about it. Yeah, I mean you're making an assumption that he's worn that, Justin: whatever I'll take it. Well, best head coach in the league. There's something to be said about that. Yeah, for the quarterback. So then why not throw out Rex and look at another quarterback. Same thing with Eli, right? You look at Eli, he's had Tom Koppel and an offensive-minded coach. there from the start of his career nurturing him along. Okay, Peyton Manning had, he's kind of special, but you know, he had Tom Moore there for the majority of his Kerere there, the same guy, offensive guru, to bring him along and nurture him. Drew Brees with Sean Peyton took off in New Orleans.
21:02 Justin: Right, but he was six years into his career or something like that. three or four years into his career and took off with the stability of an offensive-minded head coach. Jake: Right, uh, uh, Phillip Rivers has had the stability of... Maybe he's no good. Okay. Yeah, I mean, I think, I think there's some analysis to it. I just, I'm worried that it's something... There's coaching, there's things you can strength, you can lift those weights, you can watch film study, you can do all this sort of stuff. But at the end of the day, there's something instinctual about being a quarterback, and you have that instinctual thing, Justin: or you don't. Well, I'm not giving up on the guy who won four road playoff games yet. and say that he doesn't know how to play quarterback instinctually when you win those games, there's a reason why there's only, you know, there haven't been too many guys who've won that many playoff games on the road. Jake: I understand, but at some point we have to say, at some point, it'd say those wins... might have been the peak of of his career. Not the beginning. Justin: It'd be really hard for me to say that the peak of the quarterback's career was his rookie and second year. It's possible. But I'd like to think that it's not likely. Jake: Okay. Well, I'm just saying, at a certain point in our conversation in the next year, two years, whatever they decide, there'll be a point where you look at someone's career and I... but whatever, and he was like the second coming of whatever. And then he peaked. He never got back to that form. Whether what happened, situation, whatever, he just never came back to that. So there's These four games about and then we have to talk about our nothing but our passion and you see you interceptions and seem to be cooking anymore say okay just to the first two are normal or the second to our anomaly. And we have to choose. Now the third year is gonna be like tilt it. You go, oh, now we're in the third year, fifth year of his career. Do we go back to where they were? Or do we keep going down this, down this crack hole? Justin: Alright, let's keep going. I don't wanna talk about Sanchez anymore. Can I just ask you how stupid it was to have Tebow dressed and not have Nakawe dressed? And then... How absurd it was after the game when asked why didn't T-Bo play to say he had cracked ribs,
24:03 Justin: he wasn't breathing, he wasn't breathing right in practice, I wouldn't want my son to play in a game like that and then not have another quarterback because he said he could play but you're not going to play them but it was this whole web of This is the Jets thing. They get themselves caught in this web of lies and deception. And instead of just doing the right thing and being like, Deebo's got cracked ribs he can't play so he's not going to suit up. Right, and here's McElroy. That's it. He's not going to play in the Deebo package. There were no plays. He's not even gonna play on the puns. So there's no value there. Why dress him? And why come out and say he we didn't play him because he had cra- like that makes me that makes me think oh Well, maybe rek should be fired. Because he's just an idiot. That was an idiot move. That's a total dumb fuck North Turner head coach move. Jake: , I just don't know enough about the situation. I just don't don't know if that's actually what would happen. If Tebow lied to him and said he's fine, but then when he got out there and was dressed he wasn't fine. I don't know when they can actually make that decision, like at what point during the game. Justin: If Tebow dresses, then you have to think he's gonna play. In the thing that they have him for the t-bow package right whatever Or at the very least out there on the punts because that's been what he's done all year unless they say we don't want you To do that anymore cuz there's no more value in it Because we can't fake anymore because everyone's just playing us to fake when you're out there I'd be so kind of giving out and you've given up block punts So it's like stupid to even have you I don't know it the whole that That's a thing that pisses me off as a Jeff fan because it's like here's this- Well yeah, here's thing, you guys lie to us constantly and it's not like you have to like you don't have to lie you don't have to be deceptive it doesn't even work Jake: Like it's stupid. Oh, it's the lies you get caught in. It's like my seven year old daughter tries to lie about something. Justin: She's dumb! Like not only is that dumb, but it's really irresponsible. Like, Sancha starts limping in the fourth quarter, and it's like... Jake: Well, there's a scenario that if we... I mean, it didn't happen because we were being blown out. But let's say Sancha's, we were winning the game, and Sancha's gets hurt or gets knocked out or air knocked out of him, and you gotta throw in somebody. and you throw in a guy with cracked ribs, like who you know. Justin: Totally irresponsible. Jake: Right. So it's like you now, you now putting two people in risk, as well as the game.
27:00 Jake: And at that point, if we had been winning or close to winning, the season at risk for not dressing the guy. So completely stupid. I just don't know enough about it and to know why or how or what the scenario is. I feel like he's the only guy has to go up there and answer the questions. I feel like there's 20 people making decisions, and there's only one guy who has to answer the questions. Justin: Yeah, well maybe there should be one guy making decisions. We'll see. Because in New England, there's one guy making the decisions. Jake: Let's go to the fools of the game. You guys. Alright. Uh... Can we say everybody? By the way, Sanchez, other than just the stupid... Stupid mistakes. Have a good game. Justin: No, he didn't. Jake: 24 for 36, 301 yards. Yeah, but that's lie in this game. I know, but it's funny. No, the stats lie. 94.8 rating stats lie. 72% percentage completion. Stats lie. They just don't tell the whole story. Yeah, they don't tell the whole song green ran an average of five point one yard for run Justin: I mean, you know, yeah, these are good things. No, no, they're great. No good. No good. No good Jake: What did I say was gonna be the factor of time and possession didn't I call that out as time is that yeah you did 3026 to 2934. All right, well, whatever very close Alright, so give me a full game. Justin: Alright, Mark Sanchez, I don't think I've done it the whole year. Mark Sanchez is to me the fool of the game. The game was in hand. It was not out of control until the two turnovers from him. that caused the game to spin out of control. I know, you know, that whole... The next two were on him. Not on him, but, you know, the interception, we're going down, we can take a lead in a game that we need to be leading. We've got three. Well... We're going for seven. Jake: By the way, that's his tenth. Yeah. That's his fourth or fifth this season, Red Zone Interstate. It's his tenth in his career, most than any other quarterback. Right. Ten... interceptions in the red zone. Those are, those are, if you even said that half of those are game changers, that meaning you would have won, think about that. You said half. Yeah. Right? That's five games that could have been won that we lost that could have been, that end up in those five, those five. I just, that red zone thing is so... And now I think, and this is where, this is where, you know, this is where all this pre-season stuff that I used to say, oh why did he talk about this? That he's, that he's mentally weak, that he's fragile, that he gets in his own head, all that stuff that I said, how do you guys know that you stupid reporters and blah blah blah blah. Like maybe it's true, maybe they he does get in his own head, maybe he gets out there on third and 10, you know, in the red zone and he goes...
30:00 Jake: I gotta make a play, I gotta make a play, and he just fucking just loses it, can't see it, and throws it right to the wrong guy. It's possible, right? And it's possible that because of being in the New York Jets, and being in the pressure, and whatever, he just, and being on a team that, I don't think the kid ever lost before he got to the Jets, like he just won, shit. Justin: Well, guess what? I mean, he still hasn't had a losing season. Well, we got a couple games to go. But when all 16 games are played and complete, he has yet to have a season where his record has been under 500. And he's gone to the playoffs two out of three times. And when he does go to the playoffs, he's gotten to the championship game. I mean... It's really nice and convenient to blame the quarterback when things go wrong, and it's really nice and convenient to praise the quarterback when things go right. Jake: No, no, no. They praise the defense when it went right. Justin: Yeah, well, you know, someone had to drive down the field and beat Peyton Manning. Someone had to put up 28 or however many points and beat Tom Brady in New England. Someone had to do that. I mean, the defense didn't score 28 points. Jake: You have to admit, listen, I'm not saying I'm on the Sanchez, get out of the bat, you know, get off the field and we're done with him as some of the announced skaters, pronounced skaters like, like, shiny, he's like, he should never play another down for the best ever. Justin: Yeah, that's so stupid. It's a little reactionary. Jake: It's totally reactionary and it's throwing out everything. Justin: It's funny because he's not a Jets fan, so he's acting like a Jets fan. It's throwing out. It's throwing out everything except for what just happened. Right. So, you know. Jake: Eventually you have to look at what just- Again, I think this is the thing I'm saying. I'm saying, eventually you have to look at what happened recently. Then what he did- Fans are stupid though. Well, that's true. Well, in- Justin: We are. In week. In week. Uh, 15 of the year, of last year, Giants fans wanted Tom Coughlin fired. In week 15 of a season in which they won the fucking Super Bowl, Giants fans were calling for Tom Coughlin's head. Now he's a Hall of Fame coach with two Super Bowl rings and can't get fired if he tried. That's how stupid and reactionary... He could get bugged a little boy. Yeah, he could. I mean, he could pull that little action. But that's how stupid and reactionary sometimes fans are. That's what the difference between the broadcasters and the fans. Well, the media's the same way. a fire call after that loss to Washington last year. the week before they played the Jets and they needed to win that game and they got killed at home it was like fire Coughlin when are we gonna fire Coughlin? They would now never fire him and all it took was like five more games Jake: all right we gotta move on because we're running out of time but uh my fool is the fans You know why? Because we're fools enough to go there and to believe.
33:02 Justin: Yeah, well Woody also, you gotta stop brother. We don't... we don't want to play on Thanksgiving anymore. It sucks to play Thursday. Thursday's not a good day to play. Why do you say he chooses that? Because he's so... He's got the Met Syndrome. He's got the Napoleon complex with the Giants. He's so... Jake: Who says this? I'm saying this. Oh, you're saying this. He wants to be the back page. He wants back page. So badly. That's clear. And if you play on Primetime on Thursday night of Thanksgiving, you are... You're in prime time, maybe. But he's right. He got the back page. Justin: Yeah, for all the wrong reasons. For all the wrong reasons. I mean, some of the headlines were hysterical. I can't remember them, but I saw the papers. Alright, let's talk about some news. So, let's talk about some fans. Jake: Farmid Ed quits. Don't get this. I guess I literally even shut myself down from Chet's News for the week because... Justin: I didn't look too far into it. All I know is that he's... Announced that he's quitting. I don't know if that means he's not gonna be a jet fan anymore I don't know if that means he's not gonna go to games anymore I don't know if that means he's just gonna quit doing the jet Chan So if someone listening can like I don't know tweet us or let us know what he's actually doing That'd be great. I mean we've I read one article that said he switched to wearing a Sanchez jersey and people in the crowd are picking fights with him about Supporting Sanchez over tubo and he's afraid he's gonna get in fights. So he's gonna just stop doing it Jake: It was interesting because My wife the dolphin fan started making fun of him like oh, well, whatever, you know, he's not a fan But I said listen I'm a fan, but if I went to every game and people sat there and berated me during the game for the entire game and called me names and yelled at me and Fucking swore at me and whatever because I'm like a little celebrity and my family was sitting next to me My friends were sitting next to me. I said, how would that make you feel? Would you feel like maybe I should just give this shit up because it's not working out for me. It's like You know, he gets the brunt of it. He, this is a guy who does nothing but go to the game as a fan. He stands up and does a cheer, which is a good thing for the fans, a good thing for the Jets. It's sponging that, you know, Jason Taylor used to say he used to hate that fucking chant. He used to drive a nut. That's exactly what you want to do. You want to drive the other team nuts. He does that and yet people don't like him, they're whatever. And so then other fans are giving him shit. And we've heard it, we've heard in our section, like there's the whole Tebow versus Sanchez thing. And it's like, I understand. I hope that he reconsiders. I know that he talked about not going when they were, but here's the other thing. He's a fan. Fan stands for fanatic. Fanatics don't make rational decisions. Fanatics make fanatical decisions. Right, like firing Tom Coughlin. Like firing Tom Coughlin or whatever it is we do. We're fans, we're crazy.
36:01 Jake: That's what makes us fans. Whatever he decides to do, I've actually met the guy. He's a nice guy. I just... I wish you would continue. I wish you'd just switch back to his old jersey. I mean, going to the Sanchez jersey seemed like kind of putting yourself in the spotlight myself. I kind of was stunned when I saw him in it. But I said, keep in there, big buddy. Listen, don't worry about it. Everybody has a bad day. Let's get over this fucking T-bow thing and then we'll see you back next year. What about some injuries? Justin: Well, here's the deal. We are already thin at receiver and we're getting thinner. Thinner as the days go on. So two of our, well basically our two starting receivers got concussions or got concussed in the PATS game. When I say these two names as starting receivers, we can all laugh together. Clyde Gates and Chaz Schillins. Concussed. Concussed. So, well Gates is... I think Gates is definitely out. His was like a bad one. Shillings. I haven't read up today, but apparently I think he did a little practicing maybe. So he might be back. Either way, it's thin and getting thinner at receiver because Stephen Hill's not ready. That's clear. Jake: There's been a lot of reps killing the rest of the season. Justin: Curly's injured. He's got the heel and hamstring and that Thursday doesn't help. You know? Well now he's got the 10 days. Yeah well now it's better but I mean I think it'd be better if it was just spaced properly. So yeah, bad news there. Have fun Sanchez throwing a Jeff Cumberland and Conrad Ruland and uh... My boy Conrad. Throw... we'll just pick up some dude. Jake: Alright, so it's Tuesday morning. What are our playoff chances? Justin: Well... If Big Ben Rafflesburger can't come back for a couple more weeks, I still think we have a chance. I'm one of those. Because I... Why are you fucking insane? I really, truly believe, and you're gonna have a hard time convincing me, that we're not gonna be 9 and 7. Okay, so we're 9 and 7? That's... So there if Big Bang can't come back did you see That Steelers game. Yes. Oh my god Jake: There and they play Baltimore at home this Charlie batch can't throw farther than me. No, he's horrible Justin: If Charlie batcher, well, if if you have to play your third string or you're gonna lose they kept losing offensive lineman They turned the ball over eight times to Cleveland, and now they have to go to Baltimore. They're gonna get destroyed. They're gonna get creamed so that brings them back to 6 and 6. And Ben is back. I wouldn't put him back there. He's gonna get hurt again. Like, they'd be looking to hurt him. And that brings him back to 6, them back to 6 and 6. Jake: Well, that's my prediction, by the way, for the Super Bowl. Is Baltimore 49ers or Green Bay? Something like that. Justin: I don't know. I had the Bears in there. It wasn't 49ers. From the NFC.
39:00 Justin: And of course the Jets and the AFC because I'm a real fan. Yeah, barely. So I'm dead serious. I really don't see us losing. And I have a bit of a problem with us not losing the rest of the season. Because I think it might save people's jobs and I don't want that to happen. So if we make the playoffs, then it will definitely save people's jobs. If we go nine and seven and don't make the playoffs, then heads can roll. Because I thought head should have rolled literally Friday morning. I was with Adam shine Jake: You sound like a fan like getting all irrational. Why should we give up on these guys? Justin: They've just had a half a year. I was on Adam. I was on his side when he was like cup arts got right now I was ready. I'm with you caught him He's useless. He's slow. He's hurt He's a big mouth and he can't cover anybody and you can only play him in running situations and even then like he's just not good anymore Cut him Jake: Cut him i'm fine with that favorite roster spot for some other wide receivers. You need somebody. Uh Justin: But here's the thing. I really do think they could be nine and seven. All right, and that's no joke I mean we're playing arizona this week, which we'll get to in a minute, but they are fucking terrible We better get going and the rest of the schedule is Jake: Pretty darn simple. There's nobody bills and charges. I think of it too that I'd look at it I know that's kind of crap. All right, let's talk about some fun stuff like the jet came in fantasy league. All right Justin: let's Let's just stop for a moment the fantasy league while it does have one more regular season week to go which would be this week where you and I are facing off head to head where we can settle this battle because whoever wins whoever wins this game will actually win the division that we are in so you and I are in the same division so whoever wins this one Jake: I like the judge they have a chance to actually win the division where we have a do or die game Justin: whoever wins this game wins the division all four of us yeah here's the thing you The LIC podcasters, you, the NY broadcasters, me, Southwest homers and jets over the pond have clinched the playoffs. There's one week left in the regular season and all the four teams in the playoffs have been decided. And those are the four. So congratulations. Jake: We have to come up with the name of the trophy. Should we call it the co-tite? The one you lose when you're the loser of the whole season? Justin: When you're the worst team in the league? The worst team in the league you can call it the co-tite? That is not yet clinched. It's Florida Big Long versus New York SAC Exchange for that pretentious... Pretentious. For that awesome award. So in week 13, you and I are playing each other... So happens that the Southwest homers and jets over the pond the other two First place teams are also playing each other so the crazy the playoff
42:01 Justin: Seating has not yet been Solidified but if it were if the playoffs were to start today Which they could because the same four teams are gonna be in it you and I would be playing in the first round and The second one because there's two it's one round but the way that the league is set up two weeks is that There's there's four teams make the playoffs. The first round is week 14 and week-. Total cumulative. Yep, and then the finals or the Super Bowl if you will the T-bow Bowl is Week 16 and week 17 for the Shiva. Good luck to everybody Alright to me, yeah, not you Jake: Let's get to let's talk about some pick them because there's no I like to we are kicking ass and the pick them man Justin: I should just let you see I always pick first I should let you pick for this week you want to see I want to do it. Well, no, okay Jake: Cuz I want to keep going so you so I wanted I wanted to remind you how you started with like a six or seven Oh, I was killing you and you're now what nine points and nine. I think I'm Seven, nine? You're like eight or nine. I'm too far. Yeah. Doesn't matter. I just want to be you. Almost crossing 100. Just want to be you in fantasy. That's all I actually care about. Oh, that's all you want to take care of it? All right. Let's go. Let's get to our picks. All right. Thursday. I will actually make them now. Just maybe that'll help. Justin: Thursday. Listen to this. We got a game. We got a real game on Thursday night. Oh, yeah. This is like a good game. Thursday night. This is a good game. Atlanta is hosting New Orleans. New Orleans played a tough game against San Francisco, but lost. Atlanta played a tough game against Tampa and won. Atlanta sneaking these games out. They're winning really tight. Atlanta's favored by four. And I think just because of the tightness that they're, they've been playing really close games. I like New Orleans. So give me New Orleans getting four. Jake: Now I'm gonna take Atlanta at home. I think they have been winning. I think they're a better team, Norlin's. Again, I've been predicting it all season. They're done. Justin: You're predicting it wrong. But they're done. Jake: But they're not. But they're done. Justin: But every time you say that, they win. Well, I said it last week and they lost. But they're five and six. It's not like they're, you know, the Eagles are done. Yeah, the Eagles are done. The Saints are not done. Alright, I say the Eagles and then they're done. Good for you. Alright, Chicago hosts Seattle, who is really pissing me off because if the schedule was just why couldn't we just go to Arizona and have Seattle come to us? We don't need to play Arizona at home. Fuck! They fucked us there. Fuck this so hard. Because really Seattle is proving that they're gonna go, they're gonna be the first team to ever go 8-0 at home and miss the playoffs. They're gonna do that. So Chicago's home against Seattle, Chicago's favored by four, I'm gonna take Chicago. He's cutler's back and Chicago's ready to roll baby. Jake: Yeah, I'll take Chicago at home. Seattle could not get it done against Miami on the road, now we're on the road again. Justin: And it was Seattle's defense who-
45:00 Justin: down. You know they were winning 21-14 and Ryan Tannehill comes back and beats you. And that's... Jake: And they just lost... I think they just lost two... they're two corners? They didn't lose them yet. Oh okay. So they're almost lost? Justin: They're both suspended for four games but they've appealed it and the appeal's not being heard this week. So they're allowed to play but... Both of the corners, both shut down corners, have been substance abuse. Whatever whatever claiming it's Adderall which everyone seems to be claiming these days. Everyone's on Adderall. All right I'm not on everything else. Detroit is hosting Indianapolis Detroit coming off a tough beat on Thanksgiving to that we didn't talk about that the double put the double flag Jake: Yeah. The flag thing. Yeah. So I've heard more about this. Me too. I do creeped out about it. I've, this is the dumbest rule in the world. And then I heard, of course, like things most come out later. It's like, oh, by the way, the coaches are told at the beginning of every game. Right. And reminded. Don't do this. Do never throw the flag on a touchdown or reversal. Ever because it automatically be reviewed and if you throw the touch the flag I guess it's you get penalized or then it's not reviewed or something stupid That's I mean the rule is dumb through a stupid but they've known the rule and it's told them every week So then it's like to break the rule you're an idiot like I understand I I also understand the essence of the rule too Justin: It's to not slow the game down right because we know we have to review that and it can also be used like As a way to get an extra timeout because you can just throw that flag whenever right? I think dude you can't throw that flag inside of two minutes stuff like that So I got get it but I got hosed there Jake: But I the penalty shouldn't be that you had the penalty should just be the 15 yards Justin: There's something like still review the play cuz you got it wrong Shouldn't be the goal should we just get the fucking play right right? When the clock was stopped anyway, it's not like any time a lot and this wasn't one of those that wouldn't have been like Jake: It's not even a question. You look no Justin: Down down game was very different Either way Detroit's favored here by four and a half I don't like indie on the road and I like Detroit angry after that game with a nice long rest Give me Detroit giving four and a half. I do will take Detroit Jake: I think indie any place really much better at home beat up on Didn't really dominate the bills like I thought they were going to bills aren't very good either Yeah, so I think the Troy and Chuck Pagano was there Justin: We need to know that in advance when he's there when he's gonna be there It's like cheerleaders are gonna be shaving their heads on the sidelines. You see that yep cheerleader shaving their heads We need to know if people are shaving heads if Pagano is gonna be there If Chuck Strong's gonna be there, like all this stuff, we need to know. We need to know, because that'll help with our picks. Alright, Green Bay, who got destroyed by the Giants, that was really surprising, um, is hosting Minnesota. And Green Bay's giving nine points to Minnesota, not sure
48:02 Justin: if Percy Harbin's gonna be playing. Green Bay, man, I I don't know what to make of this team. If you can rush them and get to the quarterback, then... He kind of like can't play like Jared Allen Yeah, like Jared Allen. Hmm. Although Houston they carved Houston up. It's really weird I don't I don't really understand Green Bay nine points. This is a division. That's a lot to be giving in in division Jake: So I'm gonna take Minnesota. I actually think this is a bounce back game for Green Bay They're gonna come out really angry. They're at home. I don't I see this getting out of hand. I think they I just see them getting out of hand. I think that Minnesota has a lot of weapons, other than AP. I just see on the road in Green Bay, they're gonna wanna tear them a new one. There's gonna be, they're gonna go pedal to metal, and they're gonna keep shooting. Plus, they get back Greg Jennings this week. Should help out with everybody. Should. I could see them just sort of, just ripping them, getting up ahead and just staying on it. So I'm gonna take Green Bay. Justin: All right. Euston goes on the road to Tennessee. See? some of these lines have jumped this one in particular Houston I'd open Houston favored by four and a half now Houston's favored by five and a half still not sure anyone's picking Tennessee so I'm gonna pick Houston yeah I'll take Houston thanks yeah that line's gonna have to go up to seven I think Carolina coming off their big Monday night win A meaningless game against Philly who's terrible and Andy Reid's gonna be fired. It'd be interesting if Rex gets fired and Andy Reid gets fired if they just traded. They swap them swap them. I Don't think I'd want and yeah, I don't think I take any really kind of a shitty coach even though he's won a lot It's kind of shitty though. He's really bad. It's never him though Jake: I fit the only thing that I only thing I my gut feel on him is that He's so built in his system that he like never changes based on his personnel and one thing you're seeing this year with McCoy is like you've got this outstanding runner. Like yesterday they went to the run and oh my god I don't feel like Bryce Brown has any more talent than Shady McCoy but of course they just dedicated it to the running game. Trick plays for him and everything and of course he tears it up. So I think fans of the Eagles and I'm not one are like Yeah, shithead, you should've been doing this all along. Like, you had a guy who's better than Bryce Brown, you've been never using him. You don't use it, you don't stick with him. And I feel like, and he reads just like, oh, this is the way we play, this is the way we play, and he's just not gonna change his mind. Justin: He's also terrible with the clock, and terrible with timeouts. He's just, I don't like him. All right, so Caroline is going to Kansas City. Awful game. If I'm Kansas City, I'm gonna try and lose this game, so I kinda want the first pick. So, Carolina is favored by three in Kansas City. Carolina winning two in a row, yeah, why not? Yeah, it's gonna happen, Carolina. All right, San Francisco travels to St. Louis.
51:03 Justin: San Francisco is favored by seven. St. Louis just beat up on Arizona, whom we're about to play. But St. Louis is no good. San Francisco is going to just dominate them. I mean, did you see what they did to Drew Brees? St. Louis don't have, St. Louis don't have no Drew Brees. So give me San Francisco and Colin Capernick show. You think it's going to continue? They're not going to bring back Smith. Why should they? Jake: Yeah, because you're not supposed to lose your job because of injury. Justin: Yeah, but you can if your head coach is Jim Harbaugh because he's an asshole and he drafted Colin Kaepernick in the second round. He's going to play him. Yeah, he's going to play him. Until they lose, why would you? Yeah, I'm gonna keep him in another league just because I I wouldn't pull Colin Kaepernick right now He looks good and he can make plays that Alex Smith actually can't make right? He makes it look easy Jake: He does he looks good. I'll take San Francisco as well. All right moving right along Justin: We got some late games. We actually have one two three four late games this week. All right some extra late games Denver is hosting Tampa and Denver is giving seven to Tampa. That's a lot. Jake: Tampa's good. Tampa's really good. Tampa's gotten good. Well you know I was looking at the quarterbacks drafted in our in the Sanchez year. Justin: Stafford, Freeman and Sanchez in the first round. Jake: What's that sound? Nah. Would you rather have Matt Stafford, Josh Freeman, or Mark Sanchez right now? Out of the three of them? That's what I just asked you. Like only pick one? No, you can have two of them. Am I ranking them or am I just taking one? No, you can take one right now. I think I'd take Matt Stafford. Justin: Okay, good. Jake: I mean, he wants to pick... Number one and I think I'd stick with them five picks ahead of them, but whatever it's not a big deal Give me Tampa. I Gotta go Yeah, it was good, but add seven and a half Justin: Seven seven Tampa's good. They just played Atlanta to the wire Jake: Yeah, I don't know, Denver. Denver always scares me. Justin: I know, it's Peyton Manning. Jake: I'll take Denver. It's scary. Is he playing on Monday night? No, Sunday. No, no, no. All right, I'll stick with Denver. This is a four o'clock. Justin: It's not even a national game. It's a local, regional game. I'm gonna take Denver. Not sure why this one is a national game. Oakland, Cleveland. Jake: in Oakland. It's off. No line for this. I think it's the, uh, this is the quarterback. Oakland running back situation. No, it's the quarterback. It's... Brandon Weeden? Yeah. Justin: Does Brandon Weeden versus Colt McCoy really shift the line? He does, apparently. I don't understand that. Negative 14 or negative 13, 22. I don't really understand why that matters. They're the same. I'm gonna pick Cleveland, because Oakland's really bad.
54:00 Justin: Yeah, I mean they're both really bad. I don't know Line is off right now, so I'm just picking Cleveland, but I might change that one the line comes around Jake: Yeah, although I'm probably getting points. I'll say I'll take Cleveland. I'll take Oakland at home right now with offline I'm probably gonna end up getting points here Justin: Cincinnati goes to San Diego. Cindy. It was terrible. They're awful. Did you see how they lost? Yeah, did you see that play fourth and 2620 29 29 or 29 Jake: I was like, oh. They stopped him. Well, this is interesting where you talked about you talked about weapons, like having that guy, Ray Rice. Ray Rice. A weapon when you're a quarterback and Flacco played like shit, like. Justin: Flacco sucks, ladies and gentlemen. Jake: And, but here he goes. He throws. You know, I guess he was this hot read or whatever. He's getting pressure. There was no hot anything Justin: It was it's fourth and 29. So nobody down the field's gonna be open So I'll just throw it to Ray Rice and hope for the best and guess what he gained 30 yards. Yep I mean 95 I think that is that um 95 I think it's Phillips on on the Chargers He could have tackled them. I mean he's right behind him, and he's like this is like so San Diego It's so north. They're just like jogging And it's like they're running in slow motion. Here's right rice like got you're like. He's only got like 28 yards to go He can't make it this isn't gonna happen. I got 12 teammates in front of me. They're gonna tackle him I'm not even gonna bother and then all of a sudden he makes the next four guys miss Bolden Cream's a dude. Oh That was so north. So yeah since he since he's favored in San Diego I'll take since Baltimore at home first Pittsburgh the lines off right now and that's clearly because of the Pittsburgh quarterback situation Who starts I'm gonna take Baltimore at home. That's a tough place to play Baltimore at home Jake: They've lost more people on Pittsburgh. I just don't believe in them. They're getting that rookie guard and points Justin: They're getting the rookie guard back to Castro first round pick whatever back on the line. That's me Baltimore Sunday night game This one kind of sucks except it's a division. They got the NFC Oh NFC is in prime time here. So Dallas is hosting Philly Horrible game Dallas is favored by nine right now I guess that figures in probably some more Nick foals and some more Bryce Brown instead of Vic and McCoy Jake: Yep, no, well then Vic and McCoy are not gonna play they're not playing there I just there's no reason to play them. No, no reason whatsoever. Only thing you can do is get them hurt You're not gonna win her her her Justin: Well, just any mice was huge you got me we got holes and get a better draft pick. There you go. If anything else 9's a lot for Dallas, because Dallas fucks up royally all the time. Jake: So I'm gonna pick Philly. Yeah, I think this is the one game where Dallas is just gonna sort of take a map behind the woodshed and just pound him. I can see it, but I'm gonna pick Philly. Literally like going up 14-0 and then just go down.
57:00 Justin: You know what, you just convinced me, I'm changing to Dallas. Because I can see it happening. Um, last game, Monday night. It's a good one. The Giants are on the road in Washington. our G3. Giants favored by two and a half in Washington Jake: We both called it wrong last week by the way did with the Giants we don't Do I Manning's dead arm looks alive again looking good. I like Washington Justin: RG 3 man, he's hard when you have money when you have you Whoo, I'm watching play a couple games and they get in that offense and it is like It is tough to stop. I mean, he's standing there doing this read with Alfred Morris, who's pretty darn good in his to stop more issues to stop. RG three, you give RG three all the time to throw. He's hitting downfield for seven of his back foot. I mean, the guy's amazing. Jake: I'll tell you, I'm giving you Washington. Thanks. All right. Let's get to the all right. Drone picks. If the East drone picks. How'd we do last week? I did terrible. I think I lost all three. Uh, I picked indie to win. I was correct. I picked... Justin: That's Jacksonville Win Chad, Chad, Henny, Chad, his his play, getting his, um, uh, a little workout or what are they a tryout here for next year. I think they've already kind of the starter and said, and said, you're the starter going into next year, unless you fuck up. Really? They've already said that. Blaine Gabbard, wow. Yeah, Blaine Gabbard's terrible. So you want to talk about terrible. He's terrible. Totally terrible. Uh, so Jacksonville is getting six points here in Buffalo and I like him to win straight up. I just think Buffalo's dead and I think Jacksonville's got a little life with Chad Henny and Cecil Shorts and Justin Blackman's coming up, coming around now with Chad Henny. and it doesn't matter who's running the ball. They're just moving the ball effectively and I think they can beat Buffalo, 27-24. Jake: I think they could beat Buffalo, but I don't think Buffalo's giving up. They didn't look at that game up against the Colts. I just think they're a dead team. But they can also just run. They can run, they have good runners, they have an average quarterback, they have good weapons on the field. I don't think they're defense is any good, but it's better now at the beginning of the year. I don't think they're very good at all. So I don't know, I'm gonna pick Buffalo on a tight one, 24-23. Let's go Buffalo. Justin: By the way, Jacksonville getting six, so I assume you pick Jacksonville, Jacksonville in. I mean, I'm gonna make them. You take this very seriously. That's why I do so well. Alright, ahh. Yeah, because you either care about one or the other.
1:00:00 Jake: No, I'm looking at different. like fucking I'll just split it and I'll win one different. I know different stuff. Justin: All right. New England is playing in Miami. History rough game for New England. If I remember correctly, they've lost a few tough ones there in Miami. I think we both agree here. New England's favorite. Probably the same score. No. Well. I have Miami scoring a little more than you do. New England is favored by seven and a half. I have New England winning 41.27. I have the winning 41.17. Yeah, yeah. relent of, both of us like New England to just roll. Jake: The Miami defense is not the one it was. No. Their defense has gone downhill. They're not stopping the run anymore. And they're not stopping the pass. Yes. all people are wide the fuck open and everyone's gonna just romp again another game I was watching while I was watching other games I I cannot imagine New England not just destroying them Justin: and you know what that's good for us so destroy and now the game of the time slot the game that happens at one o'clock it's not even the game of the time slot it's just a one o'clock game that Jake: I'm the fourth- I guarantee that our tailgate will be better than this game. Justin: This game's on Fox. I don't, even know who the like team on Fox is, but that's we're getting, but we'll be there. Jake: Here's the thing. Here's the thing. It doesn't matter when it is or what or how bad I get. I remember going to the game that we we won our fourth game. I was with you when our fourth game of the season. I think it was Buffalo. And it was the last game of season and our fourth win of the season. Pretty sure. We were horrible, but it still felt good. Justin: Still felt good to win. It always feels good. Feel good to win. Don't care. It'll feel real good when we're five and seven. It'll feel awesome. So I watched a little bit of the Arizona St. Louis game because I watched the Red Zone when I'm home. Whenever the Jets are not on. Yes. And. There's only three games on it, four o'clock. Yes, they were. They like kind of had to show this horrible St. Louis Arizona game. And if they roll this Lindley, Ryan Lindley out at quarterback, this Arizona. They're not going to score much. No, because he's awful awful. St. Louis hadn't. Turnover in five games and. Two picks sixes and another like one or a two picks. He couldn't get Fitzgerald the ball. They can't really run because you- you don't have to have their passing game whatsoever. I can't see.
1:03:03 Justin: I really cannot see season. 4 and 0 and they're now 4 and 7. Lost 7 in a row. Yeah, so I think Kim Wisenhunch trying to get fired. He's starting this Ryan Lindley, right? And he's awful. Yeah, and their defense is no good. And they've got a couple guys here. That's what was like really strong for them in the beginning of the year, but has really really taking a turn for the worst. I cannot lie for me see how we lose this game try I mean how do we lose this game? Jake: Oh, I don't know 52 points for sorry 21 points at 52 seconds. That's our way to see it Justin: These this is not the Patriots. I Just can't know I just don't see them there. They're gonna sack this kid if they've won They have a rookie left tackle a a rookie right tackle And the starting center just got injured for the year. So they have literally no offensive line. Jake: I just feel like there's no way we lose this game they're going to get a good workout because this is going to be like we don't we have no one to throw to no one to throw there's no one on the field to throw to it's like Keller and nobody so it's like they're just going to run the ball they're going to run it they're going to run it and they're going to do a screen pass and draw play and They're going to run it some more and throw it to Keller they're going to run it some more and take tons of time at the clock I have this game at 34 to 13 Jets win I could see 14 to 21 of those points being defensive and a special teams. I have the same score as the Colts game 30, to 9. 30 to 9, okay. Justin: Yeah, same type of game rookie quarterback look make them look lost. I feel like the offense will get it going a little bit. Like- I mean, St. Louis just scored in the 20s and they suck, so. Jake: Well alright, let's go, let's hope, let's get back into a non-winning season. Oh gosh, it's just so painful. Again, cake coming up, but gotta eat your cake, can't let your cake fall on the ground. So that's it for the Jicken Podcast, we'll be back next week.
