Like the, both the sphere of it and the sphere of the ball were not the sphere of the real footballs. So like the whole thing was like off. Plus, so what happened is they, you know, they, they did all caps on the jets. They moved New York above it, as opposed to being a big and why behind it, which is always kind of weird looking. They put New York. So it's a New York jets. Great. They made the football reel. They made the outer football reel. They brought in a black line, which is the only way that they can do the unis. Justin: And the shading underneath the letters. Jake: Yeah. And, and then they made the whole thing in actual football shape. So I I know that's stupid, but that's the only way we can get the uniforms, because you can only have uniforms based on colors that are in your logo. That's how they got the black uniforms, is by bringing in black into the logo, which wasn't there before, and it's just much better. And what I love about it is that if you look at it quickly, you just see the old Jets logo. Like, if I just wore it and I have a couple new ones. If I were the old logo or the new logo, and unless you're kind of in the AFC East, you're not going to notice. Justin: Yeah, I've noticed myself like when I've been reading websites and whatever and they've been putting up the schedule, I'll see like the jet logo, they're using the old logo and then I'll zoom in and I'll like, oh no, it's not. It's the new logo. It's very, like, at a glance, it looks almost exactly the same. Jake: But there's some real big fundamental changes to it. Which are great. Justin: I think in the scheme of things, it's all well and good. And it led to us being able to have an all-black uniform, which is all I care about. Jake: So the new logo is out. That's awesome. And I think it's evolutionary. I also think it's something that... it doesn't need to? Change like that all the logo needed to change because it because it had a bad color in it that that green was never a great green. It was a very weird dark. There's Gotham Green and there's... something blackout black or whatever. Anyway, I think all of them look great. They are, it's just much more sleek. There's a new New York across the, over the numbers. It just looks updated and good. It does look a little bit, I would say, some people complain it looks a little bit, maybe like the Seahawks, maybe a little. Justin: That's not where I was going. Jake: Oh, what do you think? Justin: They look like college uniforms. Jake: A little bit. Justin: They look a lot like college, I could point out, I could actually pull up. the exact uniform. Jake: Really? What is it? Like it's always gonna have stripes and things and whatever. Justin: Oh, here we go. So it looks exactly like the Eastern Michigan uniform. You look for it Eastern Michigan? We don't leave our time zone. No, I just landed on the 2018. Justin: So yeah, we don't leave our time zone. We also are home three out of the four preseason games, because we have the road game with the Giants this year. So while that week one is against the Giants, as to not play week three and get everyone killed, and they're actually playing this year, and we're actually playing the Giants in the regular season. So that's game one, and the Eagles will be game four, and that's at home. Also, week three is at home. So we really don't leave New York for a very long time. Okay. Which is fantastic. Cause we open at home with two home games right off the bat in the regular season. One of which is on Monday night against the Browns, which is a rematch. We said that's going to be a prime timer. Jake: Well, we got so good big recap right we got three front we got three prime times but no Sunday night we have Two Monday nights and a Thursday the prediction is that the that the one that'll get seen a week 16 Justin: If it matters the pits for a game the Steelers or the Jets can make the playoffs I'm certain that game will get flexed if Le'Veon Bell is still healthy. Yes I'm looking at the schedule and I know we're gonna do predictions like way way down the road. Yes. I'm just looking at December December's fucked. This is not cool First of all, we play five times in December. I assume everyone else does since the first is a Sunday Yeah, but look at like what is going on there with we have a division game against the dolphins Then we have to go on the road four days later. Justin: We play some of the rookie quarterbacks again from like, you know, we play. We see them except for Rosen and we don't know where Rosen is actually going to end up. We see Baker. We see Josh out. We're going to see him every year twice. Yep. And we see Lamar. Jake: So we're playing these guys all Sam versus his cohort happening next year. That's kind of fun. It'll be a lot of fun. So things I like about it off the top. I like the start. I kind of like those first three games. just like. the worst. Like you want like 10s. It's like you have I like you have three games and then you're barely played. Yeah, anyway, it's a long stretch from there. I like that we play both Patriot games early again. to week seven we played them twice already. I like our NFC East home games. Justin: I like the fact that we have the Giants as a home game and the Cowboys as a home game. One could argue that it'd be better to have the Giants as a road game because it was sort of an extra home game. But I like the fact that that'll be a Jets game. Yes, this particular season. Yep. And I also like having the Cowboys in town. That's a fun game. Oh and they traded for Chibo and then they fucked it up and drafted Gino Jake: and then it just became a shit show. It's so super happy that that's what we're talking about. They're gonna pick who they think is the best player. I'd like to see Bosa on the team only because I know him. I've seen him play. He's got the pedigree. His brother's really good.
